Guest guest
For the last several days, the allegory of the Prodigal Son had been surfacing often in the charts that I had been running into and of those who had been trying to get my attention, even without making a reading request! For most samsarik praanis, the story even though appearing in Christian scriptures is not meaningless because the reality does not change or is really religion-dependent! It is sad that the sins of fathers befall upon the shoulders of their sons, but when one really needs help, the strongest one and one who is closest is called! Sometimes as a son or daughter! Such is the dove-tailed reality of Karma that humans experience, Raja, Grihasta, and Faquir! Take it or leave it!! Rohiniranjan
Guest guest
Dada, You have made(prodigal son) more as evolutionary and yet find a vague link to religion.Parents want their son/daughter a kamayaabi.what finally he/she turns out is his own story or his destiny. As you mentioned sometime in this journey, one needs only to realise the time is very precious and so it is the good that carries every thing progressively and is cherished Father/Mother or brothers,in their own have done some thing as required and as the need called for.But tying them around and making them helpless with thr " rinanu bandhan " is to make issues more thought provoking. I think v need not find a space for religion as it is more than personal.what people want to do,actually and derive good and bad out of their actions is the story of the huaman,a scientist in his won way.The legacy concept,I feel it is only an expression of helplessness and to take exception. Guest guest
" legacy " and 'concept'! ;-) You used those two words in your poignant message, but are those two not *RELATED*? :-) The former typically deals with BABA while the latter is ONLY the GOD_GIVEN RIGHT for MA -- of most mothers, at least the ones that are warm-blooded and come with the power to feed their young ones, assuming ofcourse that they are well-fed themselves in the societies they live in!
