The present dasha is Ma/Ju/Ve. Na Sun, lord of 4 (territory), is very weak in extreme infancy and debilitated in navamsha (one of the reasons of Japan being so susceptible of frequent earthquakes, wind storms and tsunamis). The weak Tr Saturn, Sun’s dispositor in the natal chart, is still under the malefic influence of natal Rahu/Ketu axis. Na Mars and tr Rahu/Ketu are exactly/closely afflicting the very weak tr Sun. The na Moon is closely afflicted by tr Ketu, from H6. Tr Moon has been weak in H8 since the last 2-3 days. Na Venus is being afflicted by tr Jupiter and tr Mars, and afflicts them. Tr Venus is closely afflicted by na Ketu, from H8. Na Jupiter, the bhukti lord, is being exactly afflicted by stationary tr Rahu, from H12, since the last week of September (on Sep. 30, 2004: 18 dead after typhoon hits..Meari...) and it will continue till the middle of December. Similarly, na Mercury is being exactly afflicted by stationary tr Ketu, from H6, since the end of September, and tr Mercury is weakly placed in H6, which does not improve the situation. As Mercury rules H5, all its significations will be also under pressure till the middle of December. If we look carefully to the coming transits/dashas, for example, in the middle of November tr Jupiter will be afflicting exactly na Venus, lord of H6, and the MEPs of H5, H9, H11 and the ascendant, which leads us to the conclusion that things can get even worse. Japan has gone through a very rough period in the last 2 weeks; a typhoon which killed 70 and produced a 24 foot high wave, and now earthquakes. How would you interpert these recent events through this chart? It is clear, in the rectified chart, that Tr. Rahu is now afflicting natal MMP Jupiter in Sag., and Tr.Ketu is afflicting natal Mercury in Aq.. If you have time, could you please post your analysis on these events? Many thanks for your work.
