Guest guest
Dear Mr. Sreenadh, It is very interesting and informative to read your artical on Sun in various Houses. Though i understand that, the entire Chart is to be studied with respect to the Position(s)/placements/constillitions/avastas etc in the Native's horoscope for the results and predictions If i go by your artical, What if For Aries Acendant; Sun in 10th House along with Moon Lord of 4th House mean? and also Mercury in the same house i.e. Sun+Moon+Mercury in 10th and 10HL Saturn in 3rd house. A mutual exchange of 10th and 3rd Lord. Both Saturn and Mercury are in Retro mode. As per your artical: //Thus Sun in 10th is very good combination for ANYONE to have as far as wordly success is concerned// Does this still hold true? with the above combination? or any changes in effects and in results? if yes what are the +ve and -Ve effects on the native? Anticipating your valuable comments. Regards Chann
Guest guest
Dear Chann ji, Don't think what you have in hand is a complete thing.. That is just the beginning.... The whole of astrology is based on 6 base stones (Shadadhara). From bottom to top they are- 1) Search and Knowledge of the Ultimate (Brahmavidya): Every knowledge starts from this only and is based on this. 2) Duality (Prakriti - Kala Purusha concept OR Space-time continuum in modern terms) 3) Five basic constructs (Five Elements - Sky, Air, Fire, Water, Earth) 4) Astronomical Mathematics 5) The divisions and classifications of Signs and Houses and Asterisms 6) Significance assigned to Sign, Asterism, House, Planet Over this 6 base stones stands the great pillars of astrology. They are- 1) Place (Derivations based on signs and Asterisms alone) 2) Houses (Derivations based on houses alone) 3) Planets (Derivations based on planetary combinations alone) 4) Sign-House (Derivations based on Sign-House combinations) 5) Sign-Planet (Derivations based on Sign-Planet combinations) 6) House-Planet (Derivations based on House-Planet combinations) Note: It is about this combination that we started talking a bit. There also about sun alone. All the remaining is there in store... You can go in and search the store... or wait for someone else to bring it out... [Yes, then it would be to use to you as well] 7) Sign-House-Planet (Derivations based on Sign-House-Planet combinations) These 7 form the 7-fold prediction system. This forms the foundation for result derivation for charts and Divisions. But there are other great pillers as well. 8) Dasa Systems 9) Gochara System 10) Ashtaka Varga etc. On top of these pillars comes the roof of the mansion of astrology, with the various other concepts. Know this structure of the great old building that astrology! Visualize It! Know that we are speaking just about a pillar, and the details of it. And without knowing the details of even a pillar, let us not act as if we know the details of the whole building or think that we are the masters of it. We are just pilgrims who visit this ancient temple of Mahakala that is Astrology... Let us be humble, while we move along the corridors, touching and feeling the beauty of the pillars and walls. Let us meditate for a moment........visualizing those great enlightened seers who meditated there and was in touch with the divine. Their divinity is still vibrant and radiant in the Mantra fragments that is echoing there......Ohm.... Guest guest
Dear Chann ji, On re reading your mail I felt that it needs one more reply..and so this mail.. ==> >What if > For Aries Ascendant; > Sun in 10th House along with Moon Lord of 4th House mean? and also > Mercury in the same house i.e. Sun+Moon+Mercury in 10th and 10HL > Saturn in 3rd house. I am not here to write that long an essay for you... ) ==> > As per your article: > //Thus Sun in 10th is very good combination for ANYONE to have as > far as worldly success is concerned// > Does this still hold true? with the above combination? or any > changes in effects and in results? if yes what are the +ve and -Ve > effects on the native? <== Point - 1 --------- > Does this still hold true? ==> Yes it does. Because each combination has its own effect even though the output might get modified a bit. There is nothing called cancellation of results. The word used by sages is 'Yapaya' meaning the results become 'Hidden' but not cancelled. Point -2 -------- The sages clarified well in their slokas where the combinations should be applied. I have elaborated it in that document as well. They are intended to be used where they are supposed to be used as suggested by the sages. They haven't addressed the " what if? " because that was not necessary (because of absence of 'cancellation of effects'). Therefore a true student of ancient astrology also should not be bothered by the same... Point -3 -------- But if YOUR OWN experience about sun in 10th does not agree with it, then speak about it. That would be much valuable to us students, as a live example, and all of us can modify our understanding, if needed.
