Guest guest
Dear Magnolia ji, Q: Tell me about " Nakshatra Suktha " mentioned Vedas. That is good question - even though different from the current thread. Of course the study of " Nakshtra Sukta " could reveal many things, such as - * How and Why such names where used? * Why even the Nakshtra sutra proves that predictive astrology existed in Vedic period? * How and why the names of Nakshtras and Taras changed in the long history of Vedas? * What was the attitude of Vedic people towards the divine and the materialistic? * What is Nakshatra Chakra and how it should be used? * How and why Nakshatra Chakra based astrology present in Vedic period is different from that of Rasi chakra based astrology? * If Nakshatra chakra based Vedic astrology is LOST (in that system the Asc in the Nakshatra was considered 'Nakshatra Lagna', and the transit of planets through Nakshtras were given importance) what were the basic rules of this system and how it can be revived? What are the sources we can depend on to revive this system? * If the 28 part Nakshatra chakra used unequal division, what was the span of each division, and what was the criteria used for this division? Is there any evidence left? It is a great branch of study and you know that - * Neither it can be answered in one mail. * Nor I have answers to all the questions. Hope you will come up with a good description of the Nakshatra Sukta mentioned in Vedas and we will continue this discussion on " Nakshatra Sukta " . Actually as you could see, I am much interested in it.
