[Astrolab_9] Basics of Astrology Revisited

Dear friends, I have started penning down some of the thoughts concerning the assumption that are made in Astrology. Many a times, we don't know why such assumptions are being made or what is the basis of such assumptions. My first part talks about the way planets are classified as freinds/enemies, assignment of trigunas, benefic or malefic nature etc. It is my humble begenning. Hope you will find it interesting. Dear Krishna ji,

 

In fact I tried to apply the combinations you have specified in your

Dec. Archives.. for a would be marriage between a couple with a 12

years age gap, both married earlier and divorced. In this case the

girl's parents are dead against the relationship. This man is after

money. But the girl thinks he loves him. He is a womanizer. After

applying the specific combinations in your article to girl's

horoscope I felt that the marriage will not take place. Girl's

horoscope does not indicate a love marriage...as per my very basic

knowledge:) Even her first marriage was an arranged one but

unfortunately the first husband had been 'gay'.

 

If it is of any help for your research..let me give you the

horoscopes of the two. But I am not aware of the dates of earlier

marriages.

 

Female: 18th Dec. 1974 @ 4.00 PM in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Male: 26th Feb. 1962 @ 3.45 PM in Colombo , Sri Lanka.

Dear Renu ji, In the girl's chart, there is a clear connectivity between 7th lord and 3rd lord. Please notice that the 3rd lord Moon sits in the nakshatra of 7th lord Mars. Most other conditions are seen. Therefore, most likely, she would get married to an elderly person. She is currently running Ve AD. Ve aspects UL and also conjunct UL lord. Hence, there is a good chance that she will marry her lover during Venus AD. But, her UL lord is combust. That indicates that her married life in general is not going to be smooth affair. Please do let me know if any development takes place between them either way. On a different note, I would like to point out that Aishwarya Rai's chart also has the combination that I specified, though her husband is only one year younger to her. You are right. Sorry...I overlooked this fact.

 

As I mentioned earlier the girl's parents are dead against the

marriage and trying their very best to prevent it. I have mentioned

more about this case in the mail addressed to Sunil ji.
