Dear Krishna and Members,

Re: the chart in question (Feb. 10, 2007 at 11:13 Springfield, IL/USA)

for Obama's presidential bid, yes there are a great number of

auspicious yogas as you mentioned. Did you see there is a medium-

strong Subha Vara-Nakshatra yoga? One of the most notable features

for an outstanding political rise is that the chart lord Venus is

conjunct not only the auspicious 5th lord Mercury but also Rahu

(politics and expansion) and Uranus (fame and power) in the all-

important 10th house.

The announcement was made in the Hora of Jupiter. The Moon in

Vishakha means the " birth " Dasa was of Jupiter too. Note that Jupiter

in its Navamsa is within a degree and a half of the Midheaven of the

Chalita Bhava chart, but it is debilitated (in Navamsa where it

exchanges signs with Saturn). That with the debilitated Moon you have

mentioned makes one wonder if this is a strong enough chart? The Moon

has some neecha bhanga but still...an undertone from the nadika for

the chart is 56/ " worries. "

I have written to Hillary's campaign staff to inquire about the time

that she announced her bid, but have not received a response yet. She

first posted it in a movie on her website on Jan. 20, 2007 but I am

not sure of the time. The VTN yogas that day were spectacular and

there was was stellium (Moon, Mars, Mercury and Venus) in Capricorn

and Saturn was sandhi and retrograde.

I have briefly looked at Hillary's daughter Chelsea's chart, for

which we have better data than Hillary's: 02/27/1980, 23:24:00,

Little Rock, AR, USA, Time Zone 6.00, Lat. 34 N 44, Long. 92 W 17.

Chelsea was born between a solar and lunar eclipse and her natal

nodes are in a powerful chaya graha raja yoga on the 5/11 axis. So

for her, the nodes and eclipses will often have an auspicious effect

in transits. Interestingly, the recent solar eclipse occurred in her

4th house, and the next August 1 solar eclipse will be very close to

Chelsea's natal Moon in the 10th house (which can trigger some kind

of powerful manifestation for her mother). This along with the

powerful transit of Saturn (and Sun, Matrikaraka) to her natal

Jupiter/Rahu/Mars in her 11th house could indicate a strong

possibility for her mother's nomination at the Democratic Convention

on Aug. 25, 2008.

Looking at Bill Clinton's chart might be a good idea too, as his

birth data is said to be very accurate: 08/19/1946, 08:51:00, Hope,

AR, USA, Time Zone 6.00, Lat. 33 N 40, Long. 93 W 35. Well, next Aug.

25 the transit of JU/7th lord of Rasi chart and also Darakaraka looks

somewhat auspicious in the lucky 9th house in Sagittarius in his D-9

chart/10th from the 7th in the Rasi chart. Obviously, this is just

one of many factors to consider.

Namaskar, This chart (10/2/2007) has most important rajyoga of combining of lagna lord and 5HL. 5H is for recignition and popularity. Hence, very important for person fighting for an important election. this is happening between two friendly planets, which are close (longitude wise), and happening in 10H, which is also good. secondly, another yoda is 1H+10H in 10H, in friendly sign. It shows OBAMA will be exceptionally active and will leave no stone unturn. Nakshatra is vishaka, which owned by JU, which is obstacle tara for Obama from moon and friendly tara from lagna, which is not so good. Thank you for your apt analysis, Sanjeev. I agree that the time for

Obama's bid announcement could have been better, as you wrote, " with

little more care, it could have been great and auspicious time. "

Sadly, our political candidates in the US are consulting marketing

pros rather than astrologers. However, our former Pres. Reagan did

regularly consult a Western astrologer, and his legacy is great, in

part because of it.

Looking at Obama's Chandra Lagna chart, which some members have

discussed, the Moon is with a few degrees of a conjunction with the

Lagna of the chart for his election bid (aforementioned Feb. 10, 2007

at 11:13 AM Springfield, IL USA). This is a clear omen that the

Taurus Chandra Lagna chart can be used to track his candidacy.

Looking at the Chandra Lagna Taurus chart, the Aug. 16, 2008 Lunar

Eclipse falls very close to natal Ketu in the 10H of his Chandra

Lagna chart. This eclipse will be taking place about 9 days before

the Democratic Convention. He is in a nodal inversion transit taking

place in the 4/10 axis of the Chandra Lagna chart; that is, the

transiting lunar nodes are inverting their natal positons now. This

could indicate dramatic and sudden changes in his plans and

influence. Transiting maraka Mars is applying to a conjunction with

the Moon's dispositor Venus in the 2nd maraka house as well,

indicating the possibility of sudden and shocking reversals in his

Dear Juliana, Thanks for sharing the details. Meanwhile, I was studying the chart of Hillary for probable correct birth time. I feel that 8am birth time probably the right one as compared to 8pm. And, I also feel that 8:08am gives her Scorpio Lagna and that seem to suit her better. I have considered the following events: - Education in Law - Profession as a Lawer - Husband becoming US president during 1993 - Birth of her daughter during 1980 This horoscope also has an excellent transit combination on Aug. 25. This indicates that she would emerge as the victorious candidate on that day.
