Guest guest
Dear Kiran ji, * Ayanamsa = True Ayanamsa as per Surya Siddhanta (of Chandrahari) It is 120 degree away from the fiducial star Moola. But the easy method to arrive at and use it would be, understanding and settng it as - 46 minute more than Lahari in JHora. * Year length = 365.2425 (Noramal solar year) Or you can use 360 degree solar year; both of them don't have much difference. * Always depend on Vimsottari Dasa from Moon for sure. But in cases where Lagna is strong (means, Lagna lord is in own house or exaltation, Lagna aspected by Jupiter or Mars, Laga lord in upchaya house - 3-6-10-11 - from Lagna) then you can depend on Vimsottari dasa from Lagna as well. When ever necessary use the same rules to ascertain, whether Moon sign is strong or not as well. (Dasa that can be calculated from all the other stars such as utpanna etc are irrelevant and supported by Jataka parijata only. Neither jathaka parijata nor other texts gives it imortance. Neither other texts nor good traditional astrologers depend on that system) * Always stick to the basics. That is - - Nature and significance ascribed to Signs, Houses, Planets (and Nakshatras) - Basic rules of 7-fold system (which you are learning by and by now) * Only when you sure about the masterly use and practical application of Natal Chart, try to learn and use Vargas. * Navamsa has special importance than any other vargas because it is 1/9th of a sign (Navamsa of sign) and 1/4th of a Nakshatra (Nakshatra pada) at the same time. These are fundamentals, to successful practical application of Nirayana astrology - as I understand it.
