The Very Important 2nd House

Do you know that the 2nd House rules so many important areas in our

daily life, that a person born with a weak 2nd House is unlikely to be

fortunate or to go very far, sometimes eclipsing even the 5th House

and 9th House effects?

 

The 2nd House rules :-

 

(1) Your general family members and your overall relationship with

them. For example, you may have a splendid 4th House denoting a very

good mother, but if your 2nd House is poor, some family member is

going to thwart your relationship with your mother or there are some

caveats in your relationship with your mother eg. she dared not show

her affection openly to you in the presence of other family members.

 

(2) Your voice. In this society, if you do not speak up, you are not

likely to go far.

 

(3) Your personal and movable possessions. These are important to

support your appearance and personality. It is the grist for you to

shine in your daily interactions like your articles and jewels (the

possessions). It also rules your money saved either now or over the

years in order to buy new possions.

 

(4) As mentioned before, it rules money and coins, savings accounts

etc. - all yours.

 

(5) It rules food and drinks. The kind of items you put into your

mouth including drugs and ciggarettes would have long term effect on

your health. (People in the food business is covered by the 6th House

and not the 2nd House).

 

(6) It rules the eyes. To speak confidently, you have to look the

person at the eyes. If you are furtive and always cast downturn

glances, people would impute guiltiness in you even if you have none.

 

(7) Bankers, finance etc. all come under the 2nd House. (Investment

bankers, accountants come under the 8th House. They deal with other

poeple's money like the big corporations). From the 2nd House you can

guage your chances of getting a loan from the bank.

 

(8) It rules honesty in speech and actions (but the 4th house rules

ethics and integrity). It also rules early education like when you

sit on your mother's lap (but the 4th house rules academic degrees

needed to earn a living).

 

(9) Many planets in the 2nd House, the person becomes powerful and

may even have a trace of wickedness in them. You have to look no

further than the CEOs of Banks and financial institutions. They speak

well, assess you well and are generally very materialistic.

 

(10) It is a death inflicting house - more powerful than even the 7th

House where death infliction is concern even though the 7th House is

the angular house.

 

(11) Your Ascendant depends mightily on how your second house

situation is. It is the house of general resources (not just

possessions as previously mentioned).

 

(11) It shows your posture and bearing (the 1st on the other hand

shows your face and demeanour).
