When Does an Auspicious House Become Harmful or an Inasupcious House Become Good

Let's deal with the first group : An Auspicious House Becomes Harmful

 

(1) The ruler is situated in a harmful house like the Trik House.

 

(2) Planets ruling harmful houses are placed in the Auspicious House

(the Trikona 5th and 9th House).

 

(3) Malefics generally do not give the full beneficial effects when

posited in the Auspicious Houses or when they are given rulership to

them (including the Sun which gives problems with Father when

associated with the 9th House and makes the person barren or with few

children when assoicated with the 5th House).

 

The exception to (iii) above is when Rahu or Ketu combines with a

planet ruling an angular house (that is, all three planets are posited

in the 1st or 5th or 9th House - Rahu, Ketu and the planet ruling the

angular house) confers a particular Raja Yoga. This is in accordance

with my earlier blog mentioning that Rahu and Ketu has trinal effects

and if posited in the Trikona House with a planet ruling an angular

house posited there as well, it combines the effect of an angular

house with the effects of the three trikona houses (including the 1st

House) at one go.

 

To have an Inauspicious House become good the only way is to have its

rulership placed in another Trik House or in the particular Trik House

in question, that is the planet ruling the sign on the Trik House is

in that sign itself.
