Guest guest
Dear members, For anyone in the subject of astrology to predict correctly require fair amount of : 1) Respect to his jyotish gurus { can be parents or ...etc..} 2) Respect to the subject itself 3) Respect to the divine Gods or Ishta Devata { Ishta Devata = chosen Gods} 4) Respect & Adherence to ethical conduct & values Should any body faltering on the above, may surely would find his predictive success rate coming or going South. Nadi or plain astrology.....the above still prevail and relevant..... With regards, Sreeram_Srinivas
Guest guest
Well said sreenivas ji…if an astro-learner or practitioner follows the 4-sutras…of which the last one is the most difficult to sustain…I suppose he'll get divine grace and will progress well in terms of his astro-gyan…readings and predictions. Mr. Rochwani, gives an interesting astro-account of differences in approach amongst some of the contemporary astros (JOA-Oct-Dec 2008). After going through various accounts and experiences about nadi readers and their readings, I feel quite disillusioned. Like all other things of Kalyug, they've also fallen prey to over-materialisation…not their fault. Sunil ji said that one voluntarily goes out to seek a nadi reading, but here, in and around Delhi you get to see ads in the papers luring people into the traps of fake nadi readers… and these readers, obviously not the ones adhering to the 4-sutras…exploit the innocent people and bring bad name to what had been a divine science… some of the vulnerable ones fall for the tactics of readers like the ones described by sunil ji in his very enlightening mail. The not so innocent seekers… are also to blame…as they wander here and there to bless the astros… in their vain search for remedies to haul their lives…. With internet leaving little space for your privacy, these seekers pop-up from all corners and bless you with compliments and flattery for free readings…some of the vulnerable astros fall prey to such see(uc)kers. So it is the survival of the fittest… in this big bad world…but any which ways it is the astrology that's t(i)raded for a bad name... Anyways, I thought nadis have an academic value, for such material cannot be created now and one wonders how those nadis were conceived and written. Same has been the case with north Indian Bhrigu patras, etc… May be they've lost their relevance with over explosion of population and over growth of frustration… but should be preserved for the sake of their historical importance… A true seeker may seek the truth…regardsneelam On 14/03/2008, sreeram srinivas <sreeram64 wrote: Dear members, For anyone in the subject of astrology to predict correctly require fair amount of : 1) Respect to his jyotish gurus { can be parents or ...etc..} 2) Respect to the subject itself 3) Respect to the divine Gods or Ishta Devata { Ishta Devata = chosen Gods} 4) Respect & Adherence to ethical conduct & values Should any body faltering on the above, may surely would find his predictive success rate coming or going South. Guest guest
Dear Members, While we Indians talk so much about astrology, it is we also have very casual attitude towards it ... should somebody happens to know you are a "Doctor", immediately the conversion switches to : 1) Tell me I have a pain in my back...... then you return that I am not a Orthopaedic surgeon/doctor, depending upon the question / answers that follow, you are guranteed to expect a question on your "Doctorial Subject" 2) If your reply happen to be " Doctor-ate in Maths"..... can you tutor.....??? 3) If your reply happen to be "Doctor-ate in Genetics" .... can you tell me why I am of this height or ...etc.. 4) If your reply happen to be "Doctor-ate in Economics/Finance".... can you tell me my investments in.....would materialize or not.... Should you happen to be introduced as a Astrologer, then you would be bombarded with volly of queries - marriage, children, promotion, career, money...etc.. The only common thing in all the above is "inward looking" {call them as "ego centric queries"} with absolutely no respect or social manners, making them the most avoidable specimens Any Indian or Hindu sciences would be fruitful only in the hands of those authorized originally by nature itself ..... so are the Nadi texts. { i.e. difficult to replicate the success of Musician Michael Jackson.... !!! Similarly of Bollywood actor Rajesh Khanna} With regards, Sreeram_Srinivas
