Guest guest Posted July 24, 2008 Report Share Posted July 24, 2008 Namaste, Much is not available / not known about the bad / good effects of Eclipse on individuals,however mukurtha scriptures suggests eclipse periods and three days before and after should be avoided for mukurtha.The individuals born in nakshtra where an eclipse occurs and its neighboring nakshtra as well as annu,thri jenma nakshtra [eclipse nakshtra] should observe penance that is what South Indian panchang suggests.Elders say / recommend manthra saathana during the period of eclipse caused by Ketu could bestow good phalam.
