Apart from the well known methods of Longevity, for those who are seriously interested in this , there are other methods as below -

1) Horary system of Badarayana.

2) Rasmikayurdaya

3) Nakshatrayu ( Kalidasa)

4) Gaurijataka nakshatrayurdaya

5) Kendraayu

6) Kendra-Trikona span

7) Jaiminiayurdaya

8) Pindayurdaya

9) amsakayurdaya

There are total 32 methods of calculating the logevity, but I challenge anyone here to master and predict through even one.

Bhaskar.

Dear Bhaskarjee,

Thanx for the methods mentioned, though the intricasies of each of the method needs to be discussed.

As far as challenge is concerned, the objective is always to learn more and more and reach towards a refined knowledge and apply in practical circumstances as far as possible.

True or good Astrologers will never compete or take anything to challenge or show themselve superior to others.

Thanx bhaskarjee again.

Dear Sumitji,

A superior light will spread light around it. It does not have to show it. It is seen. A true astrologer does not have to show. It is seen.

Challenges at times are not to be taken at " face value ". They are thrown to bring out the truth , and not intended for showing any superiority.

A true astrologer if hes is having confidence, would take challenges and win it, depending on the subject he is a Master in. This may not mean that he is proud or over confident. It may also mean that he is defending his learning or Gurus teachings.

best wishes,

Bhaskar.

Dear Bhaskar,

I am sorry to write that no method of calculation can calculate the lingevity of a human being because of his free will and knowledge with him. He is capable of increasing or decreasing his life.

Dear Shri Kursija ji,

I do not know as am not into such type of calculations. This is for the interested ones to found out. Such grim activities are not my forte, though i used to do it in my earlier years in astrology. If at all I wish to know the fate of a seriously ill person, then I cast a Prashna chart and also additionally dowse ( But not successful every time ) .

Fr the common men, i dont think it should be difficult to given them a bracket of either a alp ayu, madhyam or a poorna one. But for the Yogis, yes they can increase their lives and also decrese the same. They have control over their breaths so can live longer than us common people, just like the turtles who got less heart beats, per minute and live for exceptionally long periods.

Bhaskar.
