Dear Mr. Sreenadh and other members,

Supposing a planet signifies houses 4,8,12 what would be the

interpretation in terms of Bhava Phala and in terms of Dasha Phala?

For example let us say Jupiter is lord of 4th posited in 8th and

aspecting 12 or some planet lord of 4 posited in 8th and in 12th in Navamsha

from natal Lagna.

Is it an indication of some sort of depression or complete detachment?

or what would it mean?

Regards,

Udupa

Dear Udupa ji,Your question is a bit general. I'll try to share some points.Basically 4/8/12 form the moksha trikon, on a more practical mental level this trikon deals with our emotions and psyche while on the physical level, it represents mother, properties, vehicles, education etc. One has to read on all the three planes. A lot will also depend upon the signs that fall in these houses, aspects on them, placement of their lords and planets in these houses. Watery signs would align the individual towards the natural significations of these houses. Keeping the significations of houses and planets in mind one can make the judgement.

If 4H has mother who gives us the samskaras, the 8H would show how

creative we are with those samskaras and what we procreate from these.

That is why it includes sadhana and spirituality. The 12H will show the

dharma we do do with these samskaras, the charities, staying in

ashrams, mother's father, etc are denoted by 12H. But we cannot forget that 8 and 12 are trik houses and any connection with these houses destroys the significations of the concerned house. If 4H is vehicles, then a 4/8/12 connection may also indicate a vehicular accident. (if other conditions prevail with mars/ketu etc)

//Jupiter is lord of 4th posited in 8th and aspecting 12 or some planet lord of 4 posited in 8th and in 12th in Navamsha from natal Lagna.//Jupiter can be the lord of 4 in virgo and sagi. For sagi it will be good as jupiter exalts in 8H and aspects own house (4) and friends house (12). Jupiter is also the LL. It can give high level of spirituality.

Can also get Nana's property if mars is strong. We need to check for dashas also as a lot of results would come in desired dashas only. Similarly, with virgo it will be a different scene. It is teh firy trikon, though again friendly as such, but not very friendly for the lagna. Jupiter is also markesh in this sign. Such a jupiter in 8H can give problems also, dependin upon other placements in the chart.

//Is it an indication of some sort of depression or complete detachment?//Depression and detachment would only come if saturn and moon are invloved.Hope this helps

Dear Mr. Udupa ji,

There are some contradictions or mix up. 4HL placed in 8H is one thing.

Its aspect on 12H is different i.e. placement cannot be compared to

aspect.

The terms Depression or Detachment need to be seen from the context of

strength of Lagna or Lagna Lord, Moon & Sun. Even one of these are

strong, then depression is a momentary factoring other planetary

combinations....

In the referred case, you can only say or imply that the native gains in

knowledge, whether it leads to detachment would depend on above factors.

Jupiter being a benefic, so subject knowledge would be related to holy

or sacred subjects.... unlike Acharya Rajneesh !!

Further, you have used the word 12th Navamsa.... can you elaborate on

this... for it the statement is not clear.....

With regards,
