A couple stood before Maha Swamigal with folded hands in obeisance,Swamikal observed them and enquired, "you Paloor Gopalan,an year before you have come to see me, explained your the then difficulties, are you well now".Paloor Gopalan said that he and his entire family are cheerful , after their start strictly adhering to lead their life inaccordence with the recommendations of HH Swamigal i.e. observing the mathyanna 'Adidhi- poojan' ritual as advocated to him by the Guru Maha Swamigal.He further added this Adhidhi- poojan had increased his thrift, multiplicity of life- stock and Dhana-dhanya sampath with out any loss.Kanchi Swamigal replied the couple "Bpesh""Bpesh",it is good that if every one understands the sanctity of Adhidhi- poojan and follow the Dharma. On hearing these words from the Maha Swamigal, the assembly of visitors gathered there, enquiried Maha Swamigal about the Adhidhi- poojan maghima.Periyaval explained the Adhidhi-poojana could bestow parama-padha moksha to one who performs it sincerely and narrated the real life story of Kumbakonam Kumaresa Chettiar who attained Dhampathy- sametha moksha on an auspicious MahaSivarattri night. The moral of the story is that Adhidhi-poojan is a great Dharma should be performed and practiced from ones own earned income. What is the " Adidhi Pooja " , and where will be able to read the real Life story of Kumbakonam.
