Dear Gaurav ji, As I know well and sure with daily use (in office) that AVG is a trusted and excellent Anti virus software without problems. On the other hand I have bad experience with Kaspersky since it tries to download adware. Usually I don't use any anti virus software at home - but only scans the computer regularly (once in a week or so) with some good antivirus software (AVG, Aast, Dr.Web etc to name a few) and then uninstall it. I don't use Norton or Maccafe since they are too resource hungry. [Dr. Web is one of the best antivirus tools - I have recently discoved this info with my encounters with some virus infections] The best permenent protection I have for my system is Comodo Internet Firewall and AVG Anti spyware installed in my system. With the best protection provided by Comodo Firewall, almost nothing happens in my system without my knowledge and understanding. To protect my system further, another best tool I have selected is "Norton Go Back" which helps me to restore the system state to a previous date in case anything goes wrong (thus making any infection happened after that irrelevent!). So usually my system is in such a state that I can even install a virus and still keep my system clean and cool with a simple re-boot. :) Note: It not good to blame the good AVG software which was free for long, and is effective. Love and regards,Sreenadh , "" <gaurav.ghosh wrote:>> ||Jai Ramakrishna||> Dear Sreenadhji,> AVG is itself a virus. Norton is resource hungry at times cannot remove common viruses even with corporate versions.>

Dear Chandran ji,

Avoiding computers just due to the fear of virus is not good; using a good

anti virus s0ftware like AVG or Dr. Web is better. :) Being april 1st, most

possibly it is just another hoax to fool others.

Love and regards,

Sreenadh
