Dear All, Skanda hora says - "Sailagrabhihatasya surya kujayor mrityuH kha bandhusthayoH (Skanda Hora by Skanda)[if Sun and Mars are placed in 4th or 10th then due to tip of hill falling above the native will die] While commenting on the above quote Brihat prajapatya (by Daksha Prajapati) tells us that in the above quote the word 'tip of hill' is used just a a simili. The exact meaning is not intended but the possibilities could be many such as - stone, hill, wall, tree branch, dry wood, pot and so on. The exact commentry by Brihat prajapatya for this word is given below - Abhikhatena sailasya sikharenatha vesmanaH kudyasya prantabhagena vrikshasya vitapena va Pakastanoparishtadva pakakashtena kutrachil Stapitena tathabhutaiH patrairva mrinmayairmritiH (Brihat Prajapatya)[For the words 'death due to tip of hill falling above', death due to the hitting of tip of hill, wall of house, branch of tree, dry wood stored above, mud pot etc or any other similar heavy things falling above and death happening due to that can be considered] This yoga is mentioned in Brihat Jataka by Varaha Mihira as well. Since numerous texts like Skanda hora, Brihat Prajapatya, Brihat jataka etc mentions this combination it becomes a very interesting one. Do you know anyone with the above combination in their chart? Is the connected dasa-antara (dasa antara of Sun in Mars or Mars in Sun) is over for them or not? What was the actual result observed? Note: I think instead of wasting time on some ceo fool, and other MONKey we can spend time for some useful discussion related to some astrological subject. Love and regards,Sreenadh

Dear Sreenadh-ji,

Many many thanks for this topic.

At least it puts us on the right track, steering away from

unnecessary discussions.

Dear Souvik-ji,

The death of PV arsimha Rao can be more aptly described

as " Death due to fall from pinnacle (tip) of his career " .

This particular example may be indicating that we should

also look to use the " tip of hill " in a more figurative way. 10H

having Sun+Mars would indicate good career and their aspect

on 4H may indicate problems with heart.
