Dear All,

The text Veera simhavalokanam by King Veera simha provides a

combination that indicate fits for the native in the corresponding

dasa/antara. Do you know anyone with such a combination? What are the

actual results observed? The combination is given below -

Sasi-bhusuta-dinanadha nithanasta yasya janmakale syuH

nana vyadhi vadhadyaiH peeda-apasmara sambhava tasya

[if Moon-Mars-Sun combination is present in 8th house at the time of

Let me give you birth data of a boy who used to get fits on and off but now on

medication and under control.

 

Natal Chart

 

July 10, 1983

Time: 1:40:00

Time Zone: 5:30:00 (East of GMT)

Place: 80 E 12' 00 " , 6 N 03' 00 "

Galle, Sri Lanka

 

He has Sun,Moon, Mars combination in his 3rd house (8th from 8th} in addition to

Rahu and Mercury placed in the same house.

 

He used to get fits mostly during Jupiter MD and that too quite frequently at

the tail end of the Jupiter MD. Retro. Jupiter is placed in the 8th house.

 

Since the commencement of his Saturn MD (exalted in the 7th house), he is free

from this trouble but still under medication.

 

Well, the case is not exactly as the combination given in the text Veera

Saimhavlokanam, referred by you. Hence I don't know whether this case is

relevant...

Strickly speaking the quote does not match with this horoscope at all but main

theme as stated by Sunilji is seems to be fulfilled.

Thanks for providing this chart. Certainly the given combination is relevant

for this chart. Let me repeat the combination and clarify why the said

combination is important for the chart given by you.

The fits combination given in Veerasimhavaloka is - //If Moon-Mars-Sun

combination is present in 8th house at the time of birth, then the native will

suffer due to fits possibly caused by various diseases//

In the chart provided by you -

* Moon-Mars-Sun combination is present 3rd house. Unlike stated in the quote

this is not in 8th house, but 8th from 8th house. So we may feel that the the

combination is fulfilled partially only and that the combination is weak here.

But we shouldn't forget that, to negate this the dasa of the planet placed in

8th house (i.e. the Dasa of Jupiter placed in 8th house) is running and also

that Jupiter is place in the house of Mars and the navamsa of Jupiter falls in

6th house (disease) and also that the 6th lord Mercury itself is the depositor

of Moon-Mars-Sun combination. So the combination becomes strong and applicable,

causing disease to this native, during the period of Jupitor dasa Mars antara.

(April 2005 to March 2006 period as per Chandrahari ayanamsa 360 deg solar

year). Thus mainly this period should give fits for the native as per the above

combination.

* Also the question comes why Saturn was important in the commencement of the

Thanks for the explanations. I always wondered why this boy suffers from

epileptic fits. Now you have shown the cause as depicted in his birth chart.

I think I have not been clear here. What I meant was that he was free from fits,

when his Saturn MD commenced, but of course due to medication from the right

neuro surgeon. The better word would be that the disease is controlled by

medication. Hope I am clear this time.
