Greetings to all. Thanks for the wonderful sharing that many of you have contributed to this .

I’ve been studying and experimenting with materials in Dr. David Frawley’s profound and amazing book, Inner Tantric Yoga; Working with the Universal Shakti Secrets of Mantras, Deities and Meditation†. Based on this study, I’ve got a question pertaining to the devatas of the chakras.

In this book, he writes about Bhairavi’s Three Syllable Mantra Hsraim Hsklrim Hsraum. He states that: “Bhaiuravi’s mantras activiate the Dakinis, the special Shaktis of the chakras, particularly her mantra Hsklrim. … The Dakinis are the Yoginis that rule over the energies of the Chakras and should be propitiated in order to unfold their powers†( page 167 ). Other authors (e.g.. Arthur Avalon) refer to these Dakinis as the “door keepers†to the chakras.

Although I’ve been practicing mantra meditation fairly extensively for many years, I’m just now starting to become intrigued by the teachings regarding the Dakinis and the devatas of the chakras. I’ve found Dr Frawley’s writings on mantra practice to be profoundly valuable.

With some extensive mantra practice (using the above mented mantra and others ) based upon guidance from the “Inner Tantric Yoga†book, as well as my primary teacher, Thomas Ashley-Farrand, I’m starting to sense that I may be triggering some internal responses from these Dakinis.

While David Frawley’s book has extensive practical guidance on this topic, I’m asking if anyone in this has any personal experience from which they could share any insights on contacting these Dakinis or other devatas of the chakras? While I would welcome any further references or scriptural sources pertaining to this topic, my question here is primarily seeking guidance or advice based upon anyone’s direct experience in accessing and/or expanding communications with this realm of the Dakinis. Assuming that such a possible sharing would be appropriate.

Thanks in advance.

Blessings. Bill Barry

Dear Shyam,

Nowadays anyone talks about TM, Blue Lights, Smell after meditation,

Chakras, Levitation and what not. because information ahs become too

loose. Something which was to be experienced has now become too loose a

talk.

These fools in this mail do not realise what they are talking about.

Devatas, Gandharvas, Bhairavi, Dakinis and Yoginis are all different

forms of astral manifestations of conscious living beings. They must

also mix Pisaschinis, Bhootnis, Pretanis, Brahmarakshini in this

nonsense mail to make much impressive impact on gullible souls.

The Chakras are not opened justs by recitation of these mantras they

assume to do so. There are certain meditation techniques which go

alongwith.

For instance The Agyna Chakra (Optical Thalamus) will open with the

mantra " Hong Sau " also known as Hang Shang or the opposite of SoHam (Ham

So). This is the Bija Mantra or the Bija Petal Sound of the two petals

of the Lotus. The Dev shakti is Hakini here. (I will not give the

technique of meditation here as not allowed).

It is strange that these days people are ready to talk and project

themselves as Masters and write articles on such delicate and intricate

subjects sending wrong signals most of the times to the readers, without

actually experiencing the same, which should be not.

anyways, to each his own.........

regards/Bhaskar.
