Guest guest Posted June 14, 2009 Report Share Posted June 14, 2009 Pranams,Mr.Nair ji,I said seem to have born,since Amavasya ended around 5.45 am and Sun,Moon , Ketu are very close.I do not have copies old panchangams on hand but yet I could recall that there were a lot of NEWS appeared in NEWS Papers on that eve.Ardthoothayam and Magoothayam punyakaalams said to occur in the Solar months of Makara / Kumbha on the eve of Solar Eclipse synchronized with Sunday / Monday,Sravana nakshtra,Vyatipata yoga and udayakaalam.It is said that each Samudra sthaanam performed on these occassion would be equalent to one crore Surya grhana punyakaala phalam.Thanks,Dhananjayan Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
