Guest guest
Dear All, Does any body have experience with Navamsha Dasha? I just saw a new book by Mr. Sachin Malhotra on the same subject and was wondering if any one in this list has used this dasha? Any reviews on the book would be appreciated too. Guest guest
Dear friend, Please give the details of publishers and price etc. so that we can try to have a look on its content. I had found three references on Navamsa Dasa. One is Jaimini Navamsa Dasa- You may refer to Jamini Rishi Upadesha Sutra by Shri Sanjay Rath or any other good astrological references on the subject published by Tamil/ Kerala writers. Another is Ashotttari (108) navamsa dasa or Brigu Navamsa Dasa- casually used in some parts of Orissa by traditional astrologers. In the eighties( 1984 to 1986- I can not recall the exact year and month) late Shree Ramchandra Harichandan ( one good Oriya Astrologer had introduced it to public through his editorial in then publishing Oriya Jyotish magazine- 'Niyati' meaning 'the fate') Third reference on Navamsa Dasa I find in the writings of Shree CS Patel on his Navamsa book published by M/s Sagar Publications. As per Shri Patel- aries rasi and aries navamsa related to all those events that would fructify in the 1st year of a person's life, and aries rasi taurus navamsa - about 2nd years of a person's life and so on. After working over more than 2years period I found Patel's Navamsa principle of timing events to be the most clear- free from ambiguity and surprisingly accurate. (Shree Patel never used the term Dasa...it is our coinage....as the purpose is same....timing event....so there is no harm in saying this a Dasa) With regards and best wishes, Mrutyunjay Tripathy , Manoj Chandran <chandran_manoj wrote: > > Dear All, > > Does any body have experience with Navamsha Dasha? Guest guest
Namaste Mr. Tripathy ji, Kindly do share the methods, techniques, experiences and variances in using this lesser known techniques with us in the group. Should you have any articles , you can upload them in the files section in PDF format so that your credentials / contributions are protected {for there are few , which download and plagarize them } Example : 2 nos books written by Mr. Sreenadh in his native Malayam Language, (collection of rare unpublished sanskrit slokas with commentary on it ) given to an elderly respected person for proof reading, were to his surprise were printed by the Old person in his own name, without any reference to Sreenadh...this he realized when he went to astro_bookshop and found the topic suiting to his interest..picked it up...only to realize it is all his own script. Out of respect for the Old man.... he resigned to his fate....but the old man lost his respect once for all and also committed a greatest crime inspite of his wisdom that came with his old age, in plagarizing that... We do not like other people fall into similar trap. The publishers of "Saptarishi Astrology" have many such stories to tell from real world about - Ranjan or Sagar or ...etc. astro_publishers. We would sincerely look forward for your views and sharing of knowledge....
