Guest guest
Dear All,I wish to share this little episode with you pertaining to the blind chart, FWIW. You all are free to draw your own conclusions, of course!Yesterday I was looking up Brihat Jataka for some reference, and the page which opened before me said that Malefics in Rashi Anth are sure to give adverse results in their dasha and bhukti. I remembered that this chart had Rahu beyond 29 degrees, so I decided to apply this dictum on this chart. Rahu-Rahu appeared to be inauspicious enough to give an accident. Though I was personally more convinced about Rahu-Mer and if that verse had not crossed my eyes earlier in the day, I was thinking of Rah-Mer or Rahu-Sun! I feel some divine grace is important when we try to pin point something in a chart amongst the n-number number of options and possibilities! Call is intuition, shakun, inner voice, whatever! How it may come to us, is a different bigger issue and there were some discussions on it earlier in the day. RegardsNeelam
Guest guest
Dear members, I cannot reply to each and every message as I do not spend much time on computer. You can consider me a guest in the forum. When I go back to India, I will not spend time at all in computer as I have an active social life there. I did learn astrology several years before, never practised, hence not sure about my predictive abilities. Now coming to various responses, Ms Renu wrote I would regret what I said- I never regret anything in life- which probably is close to the end now. Ms Neelam has a good rapport with fellow members, that is nice to hear. Mistakes are a part of humanbeings. In another group, I raised my voice when they were discussing Michael Jackson's death without an appropriate Birth time. One member started saying IIT produces best astrologers. The member went on producing list of IITians as best astrologers I was startled as astrology is not taught in IIT. Being an alumni of IIT from the old era, I can tell it was not taught in my times. My children studied in IIT that did not include astrology. He was asking for my academic profile when I said I am more learned than the list he provided. Anyway, I shall observe the proceedings of your august forum. Guest guest
Dear Guruparamacharya ji, I echo your sentiments with reference to what is going on these days in name of astrology. I am aware of the groups you are talking of, where you witnessed such amusing statements coming from so called " Senior astrologers " . That was really funny that IIT produces the best astrologers. I think that man was inebriated when he wrote those words. This same man, in another Group without the birth time of Michael Jackson (MJ)foolishly taking the death time of MJ tried to make some inconsequential back analysis about MJ, which was thrashed away by the Astrolger Owner of that group, and this name sake senior astrologer was asked to clarify certain statements of his, which he has not been able to do even after 72 hours have passed. He will not be able to come for he does not know astrology, yet calls himself the CEO of a Jyotish group. You should have asked him for his academic profiles, but then he would not have allowed you to post that. regards, Bhaskar. , " guruparamacharya " <guruparamacharya wrote: > > Dear members, > > I cannot reply to each and every message as I do not spend much time on computer. Guest guest
Dear Gurushanker Ji, The IIT episode is unfortunately part of " Intellectual Elitism " that is still present in India. It is a new form of " Intellectual Caste System " . It is the arrogant assumption that if a person has passed ONE exam then they have to be the " greatest " in all the fields in the world. We all know what happened to Michael Jordan, the Greatest Basktetball player, when he quit and started playing Baseball. He was a abject failure. Some of these " IIT superstars " cannot match even the village astrologers when it comes to predictions. Guest guest
Dear Neelam Ji, I remembered this post today and I re-read it. How about the dictum that a Dasha lords effect during dasha change usually takes place only after his own Antar? So according to standard principles, Rahu's full effect should not have been available until Rahu-Jupiter. Atleast that is what I was taught by my main teacher. Even with the info you had, I would have applied this dictum and I would have been WRONG !!!
