Use of Numbers in Natal horoscopy and Horary Astrology

Dear Members

 

If there is one topic which is not touched or ignored by those who learn

astrology is the use of alphabets in NAtal and prashna charts.

Yet often we see old astrologers writing the probable staring letter of the

bridegroom when we carry the horoscope of the bride for predictions.

 

The references i found for alphabets in astrology clascic are

 

1.Yavanajataka-chapters 71.72,73

2.Prasna Marga-chapter 29 -where it is chiefly use to find the name of thief in

case of stolen articles

 

It is not surprising to know that the attempt to know the name of the thief or

bride or bridegroom is prevalent in tantrik practices like that of invoking the

spirit with the ouja board.
