Hari Om

Just want to know which method is the best Vakhya or Thiru-kanitham. The

reason is I suppose to check on a girl, if I use Vakya the Lagna is Capricon and

Thiru-Kanitham in Aqua. Thus the Rahu for Capricon is in ninth house and for

Thiru-Kanitham will in eigth house.

Next question is what the impact of Rahu in eight house with Retograde Jupiter

in Gemini. Is this Viskanya?

Dear surej

No ayanamsha is corrrect. It is your own belief.

Some claim Lahiri is correct. It is close to Drigganitha.

People in South INdia claim Vakya is correct.Vakya is based on Surya

siddhanta. If you want to believe in Rishis who lived earlier than parashara, use

vakya panchang. In my opinion vakyam ayanamsha is good, there arent enough

software to cast charts based on vakya

No body knows for sure which star is the starting point of zodiac and hence the

trouble

If you want to do match for marriage, cast both charts of that of groom and bride

based on vakya and match.Otherwise cast both charts based on thirukanidha and

match. Please dont mix charts cast on different ayanamsha.

Dear Vinothkumar Ji,

//No ayanamsha is corrrect. It is your own belief.//

You say that because "that" is "your" belief :) Infact best approach is to try many charts with different ayanamsha's and see which one seems to prduce the best results and then stick to that. Bottom line is one needs accurate predictions.

Dear Manoj ji

I also meant that.Whichever ayanamsha gives consistent predictions for a

astrologer,he should follow that.

I know people who follow Drigganitha ayanamsha and give their predictions and

they are respected and regarded as one of the best astrologers in the locality

same way there are people who use vakya ayanamsha and predict for their clients

and are highly succesful and popular among the masses.

IF we ask the two groups of people to predict for a native, both will be able to

give top class predictions and satisfy their clients with their ayanamsha they

use.

vakya ayanamsh is not available in freeware softwares like jhora .so we cannot

test it further.

Regards

Ayanamsha is a matter of personal choice, and not a vagabound entity

that needs our testings. If one is a smart astrologer he can give good

predictions with any ayamsha. That is a different matter, that one of

them would be his favourite.

I personally respect all ayanamshas, BV Ramans, KP, Lahiri, Yukteshwars,

CP etc.

The question is that ayanamsha is like the tools used for final surgery.

But before that one must be well equipped as an astrologer to use these

tools. The ayanamsha does not make on an astrologer. The astrologer

maketh the anayamsha. So before one talks of trying to give test, or

take test of the ayanashas to find out which is the right one, must one

be himself be put to test whether he is well equipped enought to try

some ayanamsha . Are we capable enough to test ayanamshas ? That must be

answered first.

Bhaskar.
