DearMr.Jain and friends,

I bought my first copy of Lal Kitab in the dasa of venus.Rahu is there in Libra

but there are Jup and Mars also in Libra.

If I am not mistaken Socrates was given the cup of poison because he was the

only one who said that earth revolves around sun and not vice versa as the most

powerful organization of the west, that is the Church thought and propgated.

Future Point and some of the other names given in the message are no doubt some

known organizations and figures in the Jyotish World but to accept that what

they say is the Gospel truth about Lal Kitab is something which I am not willing

to accept.

Mr.Rajinder Bhatia is some one I know and I am willing to believe him.

He has no axe to grind with anyone. He doesn't make a living from Jyotish where

as the names given above have profit motive.

If Edgar Caycee or Jane Roberts or Madam Blavotsky could be used as channels by

higher forces,I don't see any reason why knowlede could not be channeled through

Late Pandit Roop Chand Ji,a person who never took a paisa for his cosultations.

No doubt Lal Kitab list or the website haven't made much of an impact as yet,but

hopefully things will improve in the future.

With reagards,

Jagmeet

dear jagmeet ji.

i am the first person who refered lalkitab to the

group and i was responded by shri rath ji once he

found out that mr bhatia gave reference to shri

rupchand as our purpose is not against astrology

but refering a soul who put astrology in asimple

way to all of us as debit and credit of our own karma.

i read red book in mercury dasa and develop interest

in astology after .

i would love to meet you and mr bhatia one day

Dear Friends,

I am trying to get hold of the Lal Kitab "special issue" by Future Point magazine from India. In the past, I have mentioned about these very "experts" without naming any names. Let me first see what they are saying now before I comment on it otherwsie I may be accused again of "getting emotional" and my explanation may not "hold any water." I will address the issues raised by Mr. Jain in the most "honest perspective." I have nothing to gain by falsifying the facts.

Thanks for your understanding.

Respectfully,

Hello Mr. Jain,

I don't know whether you are in Delhi or somewhere

else. But if you are in Delhi you might be knowing the

reputation Future Point holds. I talked to some people

having good knowledge in Lal Kitab and all are of

opinion of that the issue was not even worth reading.

Producing software in one thing and producing good

astrological work is other thing. I am saying this

becasue I myself is software developer and even helped

in developing software for Lal Kitab. But I understand

that I am not good in predictive part of Lal Kitab.

The same is true for Future Point.

If you are classical astrologer (Pararhar and Jaimini

etc.) I request you to go through few astrology books

published by Future Point. You can from there know the

quality of those books.

Also if you are regular reader of Future Samachar,

please let me know how do you rate it. To me it looks

more an astrological product catalogue than an

astrological magazine.

The point I want to raise here is Future Point is not

et al expert in Lal Kitab.

Finally I want to tell whatever I said about Future

Point, their books and magazines is just my opinion

and you may differ from this. But I want to know you

sincere comments on this matter. I am asking for your

" sincere opinion " just because I might be writing due

to some " ego. "

I am also waiting for opinion of other members.

Regards,

Punit Pandey

Dear Shri Pandeyji,

Life has been a constant struggle for my daughter. Though there is

no specific question, I just wanted to know if she will ever settle

down and be happy. I guess that is what I want as a father.

I look forward to your response.

Naresh ji

According to your daughter's horoscope ;

She is not married till now . Right now she has no proper job . though she is in some job the earnings are not sufficient to meet her expenses.

Now she is undergoing sade sathi .

Even the coming Merc dasa is also not promising.

What are your specific questions?

Dear Gupta Ji,

As per KP, I find no yoga of marriage in your

daughter's horoscope especially till 2006. You can

expect marriage in MER-KET-VEN. i.e. in first quarter

of 2007. But I think some sort of remedies are needed,

as there is no exact yoga. Ketu is in the sign of

Venus so acting as Venus which is good significator of

marriage. I see only Sun, Venus, Rahu & Ketu as

planets that can bless her with marriage. So you will

have to wait for those dasas. Chanting " Parvati Mangal

Stotra " regularly will help her getting married.

I am not expert in Lal Kitab but I think remedies from

Lal Kitab can help. As per Lal Kitab, the horoscope is

'Soye Grahon Ki Teva' means most of the planets are

sleeping. So I guess that you will have to perform

some remedy for awaking planets. I don't have too much

idea about this so you can ask it as a query in Lal

Kitab group.[i am also forwarding this e-mail to

lalkitab group.] I also guess that Moon is not overall

good for her. Do she take milk regularly at night?

Could you please tell me how is her mother especially

health wise. Do this girl have/ had some love affair

and had to face " badnaami " due to that? Is the girl

presently taking eggs regularly? On the basis of

answers of these questions, some soft of remedies can

be provided.

HI DEAR PUNITJI, Dated 13th June 2003

Myself AJAY PANDAV, if u remembered, i am astrologer

and interested in studies of astrology, so read the

above message u had written to Mr Guptaji. So my views

that if the stone of BADHAKESH as per Lagna kundali of

that girl, who is interested to get married early, is

donated to the Lord Shiva temple, with the Abhishekh

and some pooja, with the prayer that all obstacles in

my way to get marry be removed, i think there will be

definitely some help and some positive signs she will

get in her life and i hope that she will get married

soon, if i am not wrong in the period December 2003 to

April 2004.

I would be happy to have interaction with you on the

astrological studies and also need to take guidance

from you in future.

I also suggest to have your views on the combination

of Mars and Uranus in Aquaries from 3rd of June till

middle of December 2003, when its longer period Mars

will be staying in one sign, and between this period,

the Mars gets retrogade, so how will be the effects in

this planetary position.

I would be happy to have interaction with you and all

other group members on this point.

With kind regards,

Lastly, we are very much deprived of getting the

Astrological Magazine ' Times of Astrology ' in

Maharashtra, so would be happy to read if the same is

distributed in Maharshtra State.

bye,

Dear Mr. Bhatia,

Shri Gupta's daughter and I have almost the same horoscope, except for the

position of our Moon's. While hers is placed in 10th, mine is in 1st with

Mercury.

Here is my chart:

Sept. 7, 1975

9: 35 am

Thompson, Manitoba, Canada

97' west 34 "

55' north 50 "

6 hours west of GMT (but Daylight savings time was in effect)

Virgo lagan

1st house - Mercury and Moon (within 1/2 a degree of each other)

3rd house - Rahu

8th house - Jupiter (retrograde)

9th house - Mars, Ketu

11th house - Saturn

12th house - Sun, Venus (retrograde)

I believe that any questons for her may also be applied to me. So here are my

answers.

1. I do have a few marks on my forehead. My teeth are yellow, and am having pain

on and off.

2. I don't sufer from urinary tract infection or stone, although I did have a

minor episode 2-3 years ago.

3. My grandfather(dad's father) and my mother both have trouble with their

knees.

4. I have no older brother, I am the oldest.

6. My mother has three older brothers. The eldest is doing well, although they

had a child (male) only after 15 years. The second one has three sons, but his

career has been very awful. He's tried all sorts of jobs, but none of them have

worked out. The third brother is divorced, and recently had an operation for

slipped disc. He has one daughter.

7. Yes, we have many books in our house. I have my collection, my father has

his, and my grandfather has his.

8. Yes, to everyone of them. We have tried many times to get rid of all the

garbage, but some stuff always manages to stay back.

9. No backache as of yet.

10. Yes, we have 1 or 2 such torn old blankets.

I am vegetarian, and drink milk regularly. My mother has several health

problems. I have not had any 'badnaami' in any affair due to the fact that I

have not had an affair (some of us doctors don't really have a life of our own).

In 1990, our entire family left Canada and moved back to India.

My parents are looking for a girl for me, wanting me to get married before the

end of this year.

Please give your assessment of this chart and suggest some 'upaayas' as life is

pretty much at a standstill for me.

Waiting in anticipation,

Yours sincerely

GP

what I just saw from his Email, I think it matches what he has described.

(Wife's skin problem, indicated by both, Mercury and Venus.) However, let us try

to ascertain the appropriate ascendant based on his answers to the following

questions:

>

>1. Any injury on her skull/forehead? That injury might be visible. Bad teeth or

gum problems? Does she have the same skin problem, or any symptoms of what her

mother has had?

>2. Did/does she suffer from urinary tract related problems/frequent infections

etc. including stone?

>3. Who in the household has a problem with his/her leg? (Walking difficulty) or

did she/your older brother (her tayaji) suffer a broken leg/foot at any time?

She may have back pains herself.

>4. Possibility of her older brother (or the oldest brother) aborted/departed at

a very early age? Or, an older brother, if married, issue less or no sons.

(Caution: If this is not the case at all, in other words, if she has an older

brother who is doing well etc. that does not mean that this will happen. If the

answer to my question is a " No " then that means that the planets are giving

benefic effects; please don't be worried on that account.)

>6. Her oldest maternal uncle - (either your wife had no older brother or the

eldest one departed or if alive isn't doing well or has no male issues?)

>7. A large library of books in the house? Does she work in something related to

books, libraries?

>8. Broken, useless furniture, door frames, old useless broken cots accumulated

in the house, more than likely on the rooftop?

>9. Does your daughter have frequent backaches (back ache or any problem

related to spine)

>10. Any old, torn blankets lying in the house?

>

>Pardon me, I am asking too many personal questions. These relate to the various

planetary positions in the horoscope. Answers to these questions will help in

determining the basic hypothesis that I have formed in my mind about the

horoscope according to MY understanding (rightly or wrongly.)

>As very ably observed by Shri Pandey, this is indeed a " soyay huve grahon ka

tewa " a horoscope with most of the planets asleep. Once the validity of the

horoscope is established, I think appropriate remedial measures can be suggested

and timing of marriage can be established. I can say one thing - in her case, a

marriage before the age of twenty-five would have been very unpleasant - so

think of the delay as God's grace.

Bhakt Ji,

I don't think that your horoscope matches Shri Gupta Ji's daughter's horoscope (although I haven't made it yet.) I will write separately about how LalKitab treats "foreign born" horoscopes. That is a very controversial topic and for the purists, it will be another bombshell. But the LalKitab approach WORKS every time.

Fairly recently, I wrote about my son's horoscope and an American boy who was born almost simeltaneously in the adjoining delivery room. Some things thus far match and many don't - there are environmental and family related/inherited issues that come into play. After all, Bill Gates was not the only child born at his exact birth time but he is the only Bill Gates of his kind. So, untill we discuss this, please don't jump to any conclusions. I will write a follow up on Gupta Ji's daughter's case within the next two or three days. In the meantime, please restrain yourself from creating any "vaham" (doubt and the resulting confusion) in your mind.

Respectfully,

Rajinder Bhatia GP Bhakt <gpbhakt wrote:

Dear Bhakt Ji,

Bhatia Ji analyzed the horoscope of the daugher of

Gupta Ji taking Libra as ascendent and not Virgo. So

every planet will move one house backward from your

chart. What I want to say is in that case both of the

charts are totally different.

Regards,

Punit Pandey

Dear Bhakt Ji,

Bhatia Ji analyzed the horoscope of the daugher of

Gupta Ji taking Libra as ascendent and not Virgo. So

every planet will move one house backward from your

chart. What I want to say is in that case both of the

charts are totally different.

Punit Pandey

Dear Gupta Ji,

I am totally convinced in my mind that your daughter's lagna, as far as LalKitab is concerned, is Libra. This gives us the following planetary positions:

Rahu in Scorpio -- 2nd house

Jupiter in Aries -- 7th house

Mars+Ketu in Taurus -- 8th house

Moon in Gemini -- 9th house

Saturn in Cancer -- 10th house

Sun+Venus in Leo -- 11th house

Mercury in Virgo -- 12th house

Her mother (your wife) being the oldest/not having an older brother; her (your daughter) not having an older brother (it is impossible to confirm now, of course but it had to be a male child that aborted before her); mother's skin problem; we all have collections of books but you (the family)seems to have a large library (inherited from your father-in-law as you mentioned) and your daughter "surrounded by books" (her habit of reading etc.) all confirm the position of Jupiter in the 7th, Rahu in the 2nd, Mars and Ketu in the 8th and Venus and Sun in the 11th. All planets seem to be "asleep" and that is what is causing the delay in her marriage. Position of Mercury and Ketu suggest a weak eyesight, if she doesn't have back problems and if her eyesight is okay, then Mercury doesn't seem to be causing any problems.

She should "always" wear a silver chain around her neck. Was an oven ever dug in the house during a marriage in your home or the ancestral home - just a check to further ascertain the nature of Mars?

I would suggest that she should apply saffron for 43 days in a row on her navel (belly button) to "wake" up Jupiter.

Then wait for a few(3-4) days and give a "roti/chapati" for 43 days in a row, during daytime to (1) a cow (2) crows and (3) a dog.

Donate a multi-colored blanket (preferably black and red or with red stripes) to a temple along with some sugar.

Her Mars is not posited well at all. My suggestion, with due apologies to Lord Hanuman, would be to refrain from going to the Hanuman temple/Tuesday fasts/Hanuman chaleesa. Mars is not going to help her in her marital affairs; it is a big hindrance so don't "ask" it for help. However, she should eat and give others sweet "halwa" on Tuesdays.

I haven't looked at her Varshphal yet and have thus not made any calculations for a "shubh" time for her marriage. I will do that in due course.

Let me also recommend that you should try not to start a new "43-day remedial measure" on the 4th, 9th or 14th lunar date. However, there is no limitation on which weekday to start it from. All the measures should be carried out during day time hours preferably before 2 PM. Also, some self styled "LalKitab Daivagyas" have been advising people to refrain from performing the measures while it is raining; that is absolute nonsense and has no LalKitab basis; please ignore that advice.

The interpretations/suggestions are given based to the best of my limited knowledge and understanding of LalKitab as written by Pt. Roop Chand Ji. These have been provided for free as a community service.

Dear Bhatiaji,

I thank you so much for your reply. The remedies are easy and I

thank you for your time.

I might sound awkward but just wanted to confirm whether the roti

has to be given to three dogs or is it just a number in the mail. Do

I give it or only my daughter can do the needful? I am sorry for

these questions. I donot want to get it wrong.

Also, I just wanted to confirm the meaning of lunar dates - do we

count the dates from the new moon like the 14th was full moon, how

do we count it from the normal calenday?

Just to confirm matters I thought that it might help to know that I,

the father had a bypass surgery on 8 Jan, 2002. I am being greedy

but will be grateful for a shubh time for marriage. I guess with

this whatever I have tried to gauge/ forecast is wrong. No wonder

all the predictions were wrong till date! I donot think that an over

was ever dug during a marriage but shall check from my mother in -

law and get back to you.

I thank you for all your help and guidance.

With Regards,

Dear Gupta ji,

It is always good to be clear about how to do the upayas.

Rather than lengthening the post, I am taking only the relevant portions of your post and my answers are as under:

<whether the roti has to be given to three dogs or is it just a number in the mail. Do I give it or only my daughter can do the needful?>

One roti each has to be given to a dog, a cow and of course, the crows (generally the crows flock together, so more the merrier.) You, your wife or your daughter can do this - any "blood relative" can do this but it will be better if your daughter, at least, touches the chapatis. Incidentally, I remember another one -- as the "tawaa" (hot plate) for making the chapatis is heated up, it will be a good idea to sprinkle a few drops of water on the hot tawaa before any chapatis are made.

<Also, I just wanted to confirm the meaning of lunar dates - do we count the dates from the new moon like the 14th was full moon, how do we count it from the normal calendar?>

These are the "desi" dates ("tithi") according to the Vikrmi calendar. For example, today on June 19, 2002 it is "Panchmi tithi" - the fifth lunar day. Any of the Hindu calendars or almanacs can be consulted for this. Although LalKitab doesn't put any condition on when to commence a remedial measure, but it does have a full "farmaan" (directive) about the general futility of "...starting any new activity on 4th, 9th and 14th tithis..." As a precaution, rightly or wrongly, I try to avoid these dates. This is absolutely your option.

<whatever I have tried to gauge/ forecast is wrong. No wonder all the predictions were wrong till date>

That is why I've always emphasized the verification of a horoscope before madly rushing to suggest upayas. Just as in your daughter's particular case, if events don't match in case of a cuspal horoscope, then the alternate lagna should be tried. One thing I have learnt from watching Pt Som Dutt Ji is that he always verifies the horoscope and till he gets it right, he doesn't proceed further. I think it should be us LalKitab practitioners' responsibility to ensure the validity of a horoscope and if it can't be verified, we should not proceed with it.

I wish you luck.

Respectfully,

Rajinder Bhatia

Hello,

Let my try to answer your questions (and eventually be corrected by more

experienced jyotishi!)

> Sir if a Planet place in any house at 2 degree and another planet also

There will be an effect on each other but not as strong as if they were in

conjunction within orb of 5°

> And if a planet place at the ending part of a sgin say at 28 degree

> and another planet place in very next house at 2 degree? these both

> Planets are closely conjunct with each other or not?

If the Sun is involved there will be combustion, but otherwise no

conjunction should be counted active.

> Or for conjunction all planets have to place in a same house?

Usually yes.

I have answered you as per SA. Mr. Francois tried to help you bringing out

Respected Sir,

I am surprised by the fact that a planet in ending degrees in one

house can be conjunct with another in the beg degrees in the next

house. I was under the impression that it has to cross 30 degrees of

separation between signs/houses..?

In case Venus is @ 29.30 in the 7th and Rahu @ 1.35 in the 8th then

is Venus closely afflicted..?

If Venus is the asc lord and since it is placed in the 7th house of

partnerships/marriage. what is the result of Rahu's aspect on it ?

Does this also mean that 8th house matters affect Venus ?

Is it reasonable to say then that if a planet is in the ending

degrees of a house it carries the influence of the house it is

placed as well as the next house...?

Thanks & Regards,

PNR

RAHU ENGAGES IN PERSON IN MATERISTIC PURSUITS AND INVOLVES THE PERSON IN
