It will be easier if you refer to some ON-Line astrology sites like Aryabhatta.com etc. There you will find enough material which will be useful to understand the basic concepts. You may also look at Sri K N Rao's website where you will find the starting material (Journalofastrolgy site). Kindly go thru' that. That will be useful for beginners.
