then there are other qualities of saturn too, one of them perhaps being

an enforcer of discipline, hard work, balance....(?)....and vairagya. So

in the most depressed of moments, there is something that can disconnect

from the sorrow and stand apart thinking...heck! am i not being too

serious about life?...let me snap out of it...nothing is worth such

sadness...this is not my true self...life perhaps is too precious to

waste it on feeling this way....and so on and so forth. Saturn could cut

you from social networking too which is where we sometimes derive our

moments of joy from. It is isolation that can wreck havock within and

wither up the juices of life force. Similarly, great involvement with

detachment (no matter how contradictory that may sound) can also make

things flower within in a beautiful kind of way. I think Saturn gives a

discerning power (some may call it innate wisdom that is within all of

us) to observe life with greater awarness and meaning. (i really liked

the Marilyn Munroe quote).

hidden wealth (from the sale of an ancestral property) upon the death of

Mr. Pathi). Almost the entire wealth has been given away...which can be

called destruction of wealth? With 4 planets in 2nd there is perhaps

dhan yoga...but then dhan of this kind in any case is ephemeral.

from all the 'shackles of gold' we have imposed upon ourselves.

Dear Vinita ji,

//As a person who has a retro exalted saturn in 4th from moon, let me confirm

that this great planet really sucks out the joy from life. //

Your above observations forced me to confirm the validity of the same.

Dear Vinitakumarji,

Thank you for your observations from your own chart.

A similar case of a small child is currently work-in - progress.

I wanted to ask :

What do you attribute the observations to - is it due to exalation and placement of saturnor just placement.

Thanks & Regards

Dear Bhaskar ji, and other friends,For some time now i have been reading various postings on Saturn in 4th and Rahu in eighth with great interest.
