But for me it was very difficult to merge in this culture and luckily I did not. Among the years that followed with many more sociteties, groups, clubs etc. later on, I still can say that this culture has not touched me. We must certainly as Indians, respect our culture. If we do not respect our own culture then who will ? It will otherwise be lost in the ravages of times to come. I would never like any young boy half my age, or even of my age to address my mother with her first name, in same way i do not have right to do so with others mothers. Its simple as this. Translate this onto the other relations and relationships of family and Life. A man of knowledge, a man of experience, a man of expertise, a man of senior age, a man of God, a man of Birth as a Brahmin, all these have to be respected irrespective of other factors , is what our culture teaches us. best wishes, Bhaskar. ancient_indian_ astrology, Akhil Mishra <astro6301@. ..> wrote: > > Dear All members > I agree here , that every one have to pay respect every members, but commonly in western culture people use to take direct name , Ok in North america and in Uropean country it is common, but India it is not common .It doesnt matter who is senior or junior , we have to be humble and respectfull for each other . > Regards > Dr Mishra > > > --- On Wed, 9/2/09, Sre_eram sreeram64@.. . wrote: > > Sre_eram sreeram64@.. . > [ancient_indian_ astrology] Re:Punarfoo yoga - Saturn's Transit Results of 2.5 Yrs > ancient_indian_ astrology > Received: Wednesday, September 2, 2009, 4:29 AM > > > > > > > > > > > > > Dear Mr. Dhingra ji, > > > > It is indian tradition to address everyone with respect .....and Sri > > Yogesh ji is not only a senior by age, but also in subject and > > knowledge... .. even in normal life he has held many senior positions and > > discharged his duties with dignity..... > > > > With regards, > > Sreeram_Srinivas > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > ____________ _________ _________ _________ _________ _________ _ > Canada Toolbar: Search from anywhere on the web, and bookmark your favourite sites.
