Dear Vinita,

Gopi,in my humble opinion is perhaps, under the impression

that, getting rid of one's ego is a very simple and easy task/process...I do not

think that it is so simply achieveable as he is making it out to be...infact it

is the most difficult challenge to a sadhaka...and very few succeed at it in one

Birth,or even several Births...one has necessarily to be destined to achieve

this..else try as he may, he will not succeed... !

The example of the notorious  " Flower People " who reached

hallucinatory or 'ecstatic  states' using drugs like LSD,and thought that they

were in contact with Universal Intelligence or GOD is too well known to be

repeated here...

Many sadhus in India are known to reach such ecstatic states

with the help of Marijuana/Opium and even getting themselves bit by poisonous

snakes like the cobra...getting " hooked " to snake venom... !

But they remain as far away from attaining Moksha or

Nirvana...as ever...! !

The Philosophy of " Tyaga " or relinquishing worldly pleasures

was based on the simple logic, that

man becomes unhappy when he wants something but does not get it...therefore

theoretically, if one does not want anything at all,how can he become unhappy at

all ? ! But how many succeeded by following it ?

Therefore I suggest you please read the excellent books on

Kundalini  by the late Pt.Gopi Krishna,of Srinagar...the Founder of the

Kundalini Research Center in the US and Switzerland...wherein the ecstatic state

on achieving Godhead, his own personal experience, has been described very

vividly ...

                   Wishing you the very best,

                   Yogesh Lajmi.

                                                   GOOD LUCK !

Re: Moksha...

Dear Gopi ji,

" but ''beyond the mind " is also an imagination which comes through mind only "

That is very true....so long as we have no EXPERIENCE of  THAT.

To approach " God " we have to be mindless, perhaps! :)

Regards,

vinita
