Can you please elaborate further the difference between KAAL SARP YOGAM & KAAL

SARP DOSHAM.

The topic is an unique one! Yes! A few points from my end!

 

1. They are " Chaya " Grahams! Means they don't have specific physical nature but

shadows!

2. They transit in a house for 18 months. In 2009 there is going to be transit.

3. It is said depending on our karma on earlier birth, when the planets are

within Rahu & Kethu we are born.

4. The Two plantes circle the 12 house in anti-clockwise.

5. They do not have any house.

6. These two planets render benefits to a person on their later period of dasa.

7. The stars thiruvathirai, swathy and chathayam belong to Rahu while Makam,

Moolam Aswini belong to Kethu

8. In panchabootham, Akayam (Sky) is meant for them.

8. Rahu has 18 of dasa period while kethu has 7 years.

9. Kethu on the 12th house is treated as Mokshakarakan.

10. Rahu spoils the maximum among these two planets. Kethu atleast directs one

towards gnanam.

11. Durga is the parihara deity for Rahu, while Lord Ganesha is the deity for

Kethu.

 

When all the 7 planets get in between Rahu and Kethu, it is called " Kala

Sarpam " . It may vary according to horoscope. If lagnam also falls along with 7

planets that person will suffer in life like hell!

 

If the 7 planets which are between R & K there are two divisions.

 

If they are moving from Rahu to Kethu, it is called " Kala Sarpa dosham " and if

they are moving from Kethu to Rahu, it is called " Kala Sarpa Yogam " .

 

The best place so far I have seen for pariharam for these planets is

Srikalahasthy near tirupathi. One who steps in there will write off their dosham

relating to this life, while if one do the kalasarpa dosha pooja, he will be

giving the power of R & K to Lord Siva and Sakthi in this temple.
