Pranams,Mr.SunilNairji,Abhijit mukurtha is madhyana -mukurtha.There are certain dos and don'ts advocated for this mukurtha for e.g.CHOWLAM,UPANAYANAM are exempted from its purview but the list is not exhaustive.There may be limitations for every mukurtha,generally viyaapaara mukurthas are fixed in ushathkaalam(early morning)with clear 3rd and 8th houses. Lagna panchagam is an important aspect,it has to be taken care-off.Further combination of certain Thithi and Varaa causes

Dear Dhananjayan JI Thanks for ur inputs The first rule for abhijit Muhurtham is it s Not valid for wednesday as Gulika kaala and rahu kala coincides ( generaly in kerala parampara the Rahukaala is used only during Journeys and Unlike Tamil tradition -may later devlpmnt as Kerala and tamil traditions are same almost till chera Kings part away frm chola -pandya treaty -it is not used in each and everything ) ,so if u manualy calculate gulika for wednesday ,it will always rise aftr /along with the lagna degree s on abhijit Muhurtham .As Lagna rises around 14-16 ghaties and gulika rises at 14 ghaties but depending on dayduration and in delhi it is more ( dina mana kaalam since it is in delhi as every on can see the day strts at 5.45 hrs and sun sets at 19.09 hrs )Also all Muhurtha texts says The Lagna and karya Bhava ( here as it is business the 10th

house ) shudhi is one critiria .Also the lagna /karyesha is in 2/12 But generaly it is blvd that abhijit muhurtha is superseding all other dosha s as per blf except what i said it is not applicable on wednesday .As it is said that it can wardoff 1000s of dosha s .also it is said that it is agni muhurtha in wednesday at abhijit muhurtham ( need to recheck it as i forget that List of every Muhurtha s calssification and needs to see it ) as it is comes under kritika nakshatra .Even there is a story that the garden in devaloka caught fire and muhurtha fixed was abhijit for it by Deva Guru brhaspati and Lord Indra was enquiring its cause ,so devaguru told him Only the gr8 shukra acharya can help me here and later then it is corrected by sukracharya saying that this muhurtha on wednesday comes under agni Muhurtha categary and he giv a list of muhurtha s on day ( based on weekdays ) basis for each nadika ( ghati )
