Dear Friends,

Namaste.

I have recently aquired the 3 volumes of Deva Keralam and most of the

predictions are based on the nadiamsa. I have trouble finding out the nadiamsas,

although they are given in various scattered pages..

I wonder if anybody has a comprehensive lists of these degrees or knows of any

internet sites I might be able to get it from.

Does Jhora give nadiamsa,, if so, how and where can I locate it.

Your help and guidance will be much appreciated..

warmest regards

Sheevani

Dear Shivaniji,

//I have recently aquired the 3 volumes of Deva Keralam and most of the

predictions are based on the nadiamsa. I have trouble finding out the nadiamsas,

although they are given in various scattered pages..//

Yes,the prediction is based on Nadiamsa for each Lagna of Devakeralam. So you

have to browse through the index of each volumes, to find out the Nadiamsa, for

the concerned you are looking for. However, you should also go through the list

of Nadiamsa given in volume 1, for example, the 150 nadiamsa starts in serial

order for Movable signs, for Fixed signs it starts from backwards, whilst for

Common signs, start with serial no.76 from 0 Deg etc.

FYI..the present volume we have as Deva Keralam or Chandra Kali Nadi is 1/4th of

the original volume--so you may not find all Nadiamsas of all Lagnas.

//I wonder if anybody has a comprehensive lists of these degrees or knows of any

internet sites I might be able to get it from.//

You must browse through the book thorougly. Late Santhanam has given the degrees

of extent of each Nadiamsa & also gave the names of each nadiamsa as per late

Shri C.G.Rajan.

//Does Jhora give nadiamsa,, if so, how and where can I locate it.//

Yes, it does. In the " Amsa rulers " tab, you can select D-150 for amsas.

I hope this helps.

Thank you,

Gaurav.

Dear shivani Ji nadiamsa List is available with SJC in web as i hav seen one artcile and it is giving 150 nadiamsa and then it is halved to 2 and u can get 300 nadiamsa s ( if my memeory is correct ) But with my Limited Knowledge i diffrce frm the use and the way it is calculated ,any way u can hav the list and its order frm there also i think u can search in this grp and i posted it once frm PVR rayudu s site ,even u can search in net and find it .Also i posted the same artcile once to the grp where u were moderator ( i dont u r still with them ) So my sincere advise to u is without a guru dont run after nadiamsa s as it is not a regular degreewise division like most of the other divisions ( varga ) and diffrnce is there with each one ,so we cannot make such a chart tru software unless it is progrrmed in that way and realy speaking only very few has it s secret -just one or 2 persons in all over india -i know one person who has some of its secret but he will giv it to his sisyas only ( pls read Planet and children by KN rao ji to know more abt nadiamsa s and see how shri BV raman used it to predict for KN rao ( even turned His birth time based on hsi birth in brahmin family and place he born and and Numbr o siblings and profession of father etc -all using the nadiamsa of lagna only and his life scetch frm ardha nadiamsa -it is frm DRUVA nadi i think tho it is same with devakeralam ) ,Also if u can search Old back dated copy of astrological magazine of BV raman they used to discuss some nadimsa in order and its effects in every issue of Mag ,tho the method to calculate it is secret and hidden .but if u want to Know abt the use of planets in nadimsa s devakeralm givs the clue and u need to realy realy hard work on it .hope u will take in right sense what i wanted to tell u .Or may b some of our list memebrs can illuminate us with practical charts .rgrds sunil nair , "sheevani147" <sheevani147 wrote:>> Dear Friends,> > Namaste.> > I have recently aquired the 3 volumes of Deva Keralam and most of the predictions are based on the nadiamsa. Dear Gaurav.Ghosh ji,

Thank you so much for your imput.. Deva Keralam (volume 1) does indeed give the

list of the nadiamsa for each group of moveable fixed and dual rashi with number

sequence. The degreewise data is given separately using the number of the nadi..

The cross referencing is making me cross-eyed. I am sure it would get easier

with practice and familarity. It didnt make any sense to me initially.

I also checked the jhora, the nadi amsa differs from the ones given in Deva

Keralam by 1-2 nadis.

I very much appreciate your assistance to see the light..

warmest regards

Sheevani

Dear Sunil ji,

Namaste,

Thank you so much for your information. As usual, you have put it in your very

caring and concerned manner and it is very much appreciated.

You are right I am no longer a member of the 2 groups I used to moderate as I am

interested in knowledge/understanding and I do not condon the politics/ego

issues nor the abusive language.

I shall search for your articles in this site for some illumination. I do find

Deva Keralam fascinating and very absorbing,, but indeed it is a mammoth task to

go through it all and remember it,, but is useful for reference in gaining

further knowledge for charts of special interest only.

AIA remains close to my heart and I do have very fond memories of my interaction

on this group and with all of you, especially yourgoodself, Sreeramji, Neelamji,

Sreenadh ji, Manoj-chandranji, Bhaskarji and many others. Your kindness,

guidance and caring attitude is very much cherished.

warmest regards

Dear shivani Ji Thanks for ur Both mails i am happy that u did take my caution in right sense and also u can hav ur own way of searching ,reserching /understanding the concept s ( as even what ever i said is need not b correct ) ,due to lack of time i left many of the reserch which includs also on this aspect of nadiamsa s . .u can go ahead and let us know what ever u hav arrived and actualy devakeralam is a gold mine tho many commentaries what ever available is not done proper Justice to it .even it is proof that parasara astrology school is oldest astrology school of gurukula s in india and further many nadies also confirms it ,but most of these nadi texts are using vimshottary dasa Only This was one reason also why i stopped using other alternate dasa s which is mentioned in present BPHS as this reserch is possible only if we use vimshottary dasa and even that also frm Moon only .I think devakerala methods are Oldest in kerala ( some Gurus says it may b as old as 4000 yrs but modern scintific proof is not supporting the claim s as there is no much archeological evidence of organised life is not availble ) then later they switched over to varahmihira school due to reasons for its simple, concise and direct approach ,if the Oldest text Sukra keralam is availble fully we would hav been in more better position to understand how this concepts and How oldest and even we cud hav understood its diffrnce with other sampradayas and parampara ( even we cud hav understood the astrological devlpmnts in india at large ) ,but what ever quotes on sukrakeralam is availble we can assume the contribution of astroloogy is frm More tantric -saiva -yogic backgrounds any way wish u all the best in ur pursuit rgrds sunil nair , "Sheevani" <sheevani147 wrote:>> Dear Sunilji,> > I found the article you posted from the Astrological Times of India as Message #8589.> > Many thanks for drawing my attention to it.> > God Bless,> > regards> Sheevani > > > > , "astro_tellerkerala" astro_tellerkerala@ wrote:> >> > > > Dear shivani Ji> > > > nadiamsa List is available with SJC in web as i hav seen one artcile and> > it is giving 150 nadiamsa and then it is halved to 2 and u can get 300> > nadiamsa s ( if my memeory is correct )> > > > But with my Limited Knowledge i diffrce frm the use and the way it is> > calculated ,any way u can hav the list and its order frm there> > also i think u can search in this grp and i posted it once frm PVR> > rayudu s site ,even u can search in net and find it .Also i posted the> > same artcile once to the grp where u were moderator ( i dont u r still> > with them )> > > > So my sincere advise to u is without a guru dont run after nadiamsa s> > as it is not a regular degreewise division like most of the other> > divisions ( varga ) and diffrnce is there with each one ,so we cannot> > make such a chart tru software unless it is progrrmed in that way> > > > and realy speaking only very few has it s secret -just one or 2 persons> > in all over india -i know one person who has some of its secret but he> > will giv it to his sisyas only ( pls read Planet and children by KN> > rao ji to know more abt nadiamsa s and see how shri BV raman used it to> > predict for KN rao ( even turned His birth time based on hsi birth in> > brahmin family and place he born and and Numbr o siblings and profession> > of father etc -all using the nadiamsa of lagna only and his life scetch> > frm ardha nadiamsa -it is frm DRUVA nadi i think tho it is same with> > devakeralam ) ,> > > > Also if u can search Old back dated copy of astrological magazine of BV> > raman they used to discuss some nadimsa in order and its effects in> > every issue of Mag ,tho the method to calculate it is secret and hidden> > .> > > > but if u want to Know abt the use of planets in nadimsa s devakeralm> > givs the clue and u need to realy realy hard work on it .> > > > hope u will take in right sense what i wanted to tell u .> > > > Or may b some of our list memebrs can illuminate us with practical> > charts .> > > > rgrds sunil nair> > > > > > , "sheevani147"> > <sheevani147@> wrote:> > >> > > Dear Friends,> > >> > > Namaste.> > >> > > I have recently aquired the 3 volumes of Deva Keralam and most of the> > predictions are based on the nadiamsa.
