Dear Manoj Chandran ji, 1st - native 2nd - family (man and wife) 7th - partner (wife/husband); marriage - it denotes marriage. 8th - life after marriage. (8H being 2nd from the 7th can "sustain" marriage - true) 9th - house of luck; house of divine blessings (which include peaceful life with wife and children as per agama tradition) 11th - second marriage; house of gain; extra wealth (which include peaceful life with all kinds of pleasures - including wife and children - as per agama tradition) 12th - bed entertainments. (6th from 7th; sex of marriage) - it is not a house of marriage//so if 7th denotes the primary house of marriage, how is 12H also a house of marriage?// It is only 7th that DENOTES marriage, all the other houses (mentioned above) only just supports or just connected to marriage. Actually when we think about marriage - all the twelve houses becomes limbs of marriage itself, becomes supporting components of marriage itself; but without doubt primarily 7th is partner (wife/husband) and denotes marriage. Love and regards,Sreeandh , Manoj Chandran <chandran_manoj wrote:>> Dear Vandana Ji,> > Could you please explain why 8H and 12H signify marriage? Sorry for asking some thing very basic, but, from my understanding it is primarily 2, 7, 11 and some include 9. I understand the 8H being 2nd from the 7th can "sustain" marriage, but, can it be used to "denote" marriage? Also 12H is 6th from the 7th, so if 7th denotes the primary house of marriage, how is 12H also a house of marriage?> > Regards,> -Manoj>
