Guest guest
Dear Narasimha, JHL 5.0 is beautiful! What a pleasure to work with. You mentioned that the professional version will be released on May 8th. Will this be also be a download, and how much will it cost? Guest guest
Dear Julli, Commercial version JH 5.0 will not be a download. Even after zipping, the install files are more than 50 MB in size. It is huge because it has a more detailed atlas (with 2.5 million places) and a detailed ephemeris for faster calculations. JHLite 5.0 calculates analytically. So the calculations in JHLite 5.0 are a little bit less precise (but much better than JHL 3.1) and will take more time. JH 5.0 gives more precise calculations and gives them faster and includes many more cities. So it is more than 50 MB in size, even after zipping. I am still debating within myself on its price. I will decide just before the release. When it is released on May 8th, you will be able to send checks or pay online by paypal and get the CD in mail in a few days. Guest guest
JAYA JAGANNATHA! Dear Narasimha, Namaste. We have talked previously about the idea to offer online consultation to Jhora users. Maybe this list could be a proper medium for this, and as I have said, I'm volunteering to help in this, although I myself may have a few questions along the way. So if you agree, count me in as one of the consultants here, and please add a notice to the software that email queries may be sent to this list.
