Guest guest
Dear Rao Ji, While I was calculating the Vimsottari Dasa for finding a time of event, I have recognized a little difficulty and thought of asking for your help. Example:- ======== Vimsottari Dasa (started from Moon):- Rah MD: 1992-12-08 (0:42:18) - 2010-12-08 (15:32:06) Ket AD: 2003-06-07 (11:07:15) - 2004-06-25 (13:41:07) Pratyantardasas in this AD: Ket: 2003-06-07 (11:07:15) - 2003-06-30 (13:25:43) Ven: 2003-06-30 (13:25:43) - 2003-09-04 (7:19:59) Sun: 2003-09-04 (7:19:59) - 2003-09-23 (17:19:38) Moon: 2003-09-23 (17:19:38) - 2003-10-25 (14:49:34) Mars: 2003-10-25 (14:49:34) - 2003-11-16 (14:53:36) In above example, we are looking at the chart for a native' who was born in India and currenly living in USA in Central Time Zone. If I want to tell him to take some action on start of Sun Pratyantardasas which is on 2003-09-04 (7:19:59): What I do is subtract 10:30 Hrs ( this is the time difference between USA Cetral and India) from 2003-09-04 (7:19:59) and tell him the resulted time as the start of the Pratyantardasas. So my question is, is there any way to tell JH 5 to calculate the final results for a particualr time zone. So that we do not have to calculate manually and which may eliminate some errors, as if some one is looking for precise timing. Thanks for your help in advance. Guest guest
Dear Rao ji, It would've been convenient, but I kept away from it because one may live in Washington from July 1 to Dec 1 and in Dallas from Dec 1 to May 1 etc. Moreover, daylight savings times come and go. Overall, designing the interface to enter all the residence data and giving dasas for the local times is a bit complicated. In any case, practically speaking, the exact time when Vimsottari dasa changes is never known for sure. If the birthtime has an error of just 10 seconds and the first dasa is Venus dasa, then 20 hours of error can be expected in dasa dates/times!
