Guest guest
Hi PVR, In JHora 7.1, I opened a few charts and made some comparisons of Moon's longitude between using Lahiri and Vishnu-nabhi ayanamsa. In some charts, the difference is very small. In some charts, the difference seems larger. For example, in Roger Federer's chart, the longitude differences of Moon is 3 minutes and 33.97 seconds. Any comments on this varying longitude differences? One of the main reason for your adoption and recommendation of Vishnu-nabi ayanamsa is because of the superior results with annual lunar return charts. I understand that your TP book will be published when it is completed. I assumed that your book will explain with a lot of example charts your preference for this ayanamsa. But from now until the publication of your book, I believe many of us are still continuing to interpret upcoming TP charts for ourselves and others. My gut feel is that many of us would like to have more faith in using your recommendation, especially in cases of different Hora Lord. Thus, may I suggest you kindly provide us a little sneak preview of your best case study in your upcoming TP book so that we can do our own independent research and conclude for ourselves if Vishnu-nabhi is better. For example, provide us a birth data and a particular TP year where the Hora Lord is different when using Vishnu-nabhi. Or, if it is more time-saving to explain using Roger Federer's chart, could you kindly comment on his 2005 TP year where Vishnu-nabhi gives Saturn as Hora Lord and Lahiri gives Jupiter? Roger Federer's Birth Data : August 8, 1981 Time: 8:40:00 Time Zone: 2:00:00 (East of GMT) Place: 7 E 35' 00 " , 47 N 33' 00 " Basel, Switzerland. Guest guest
Namaste Pushya, The difference between this mean plane Lahiri variation and regular Lahiri is not constant. It oscillates. It also changes from one planet to another. Moon is in a considerably different plane than all other planets. The current Sun-earth plane (used in regualr Lahiri) and mean Sun-earth plane (used in modified mean plane Lahiri) are at an angle. This angle can even be 5 degrees. When Moon, who is in a totally different plane is projected onto these two planes, obviously there is a difference in the longitude. Depending on the angle between these two planes, sometimes the difference in longitudes is small and sometimes big. Depending on how apart Moon's plane is from these planes, Moon's longitude may deviate more or less.
