Guest guest
Namaste Narasimha and other members I need to understand if we can get the transit details on JHora WITHOUT reference to any particular chart. In other words, I just need to see how Jupiter or Saturn (any planet for that matter) is placed in a given year or time span, INDEPENDENT of any chart or any yuti/opposition with other planets. Your advice in this regard would be very useful. Regards Samir Kagalkar praNata bhayaharam tam nArasimham namAmi
Guest guest
Namaste Samir, If you go to the transits tab, the current date and time (actually the time at which you opened JHora) is populated. The timezone is set to your default timezone. When you click on show transit calculations, you'll see Rasi and various divisional charts. The charts themselves are independent and don't have any relation to the chart you had open (let's say reference chart) when you clicked on show transit calculations. The section that shows the basic transit info -- ayanamsa, tithi, yoga etc (it shows the natal/reference chart details on the right side), and the section that shows the various significant points and chara karakas are not wrt any reference chart. However, there are certain sections that are dependent on the reference chart. For example, the section that shows various tara's in which the planets are. One can't compute this chart without a reference. If you only need current transit, just ignore the sections that are wrt a reference chart. So too in the other tabs under transit, certain sections are wrt the reference chart and certain others are not. Hope this helps.
