Dear Narasimha

Namaste.

I defined a Kshetra Sphuta for a female chart as a user defined point

in JHora 7.31. This is something only relevant to the particular chart.

However the same point at the same location appears in every chart I

open then on as a default. I am manually required to go and remove the

display everytime. How can I delete it from the default Untitled chart

permanently ?

Regards

Ganesan

Namaste,

If you are doing research with a specific point (e.g. 210 deg from Moon or 240 deg from Jupiter or 60 deg from Mars etc), it is useful for the point to persist in all charts so you can see it. When you are done, get the edit user defined point dialog box. At the top of it, there is a checkbox that says "Remove this special point". Check it and click ok. You will not see it any more.

The same thing applies to user defined special lagnas. In JHora, you can define a special lagna that coincides with the longitude of a chosen planet when the planet rises and covers the zodiac n times in a day. If Sun is the planet and n is 2 or 5, it is hora lagna or ghati lagna. But I have generalized it for research. For example, you can take a special lagna that is at the longitude of Venus when lagna is with Venus and goes 7 times around the zodiac in a day. If you choose such a special lagna, it will be shown as Ve7. You will see it in all charts opened afterwards. When you open the special lagna definition dialog box, check the "Remove this special lagna" check box at the top and click ok to get rid of.
