This is a futile discussion. There is a Czarnow in Poland which matches with the coordinates you mention which is very much in JH database. If you live in some other Czarnow then the coordinates will have to be different. You don't have to respond to this mail.--- On Tue, 1/13/09, raghu <raghu wrote:

Yes. This is problem of East of GMT timezone.

JH has not a Czarnow (50N47 15E55) but I think it will be working good.

Thank you

The coordinates you mention are in Poland which is in 1 hour East of GMT timezone. But you are using 1 hour West of GMT and you put the place itself in Massachusetts, USA.

Clear all the incorrect data. Just enter the name of the place and let JH find the coordinates, country and timezone. If it does not have the place in its database then only use the override option. JH certainly has a Czarnow.

Do these simple things correctly, do a little bit of sanity check and then report if the problem still persists.--- On Sun, 1/11/09, raghu <raghu wrote:

For 50N47 15E55 Sunrise is 7:56 and Sunset is 16:12 but in JH is 6:01 and 14:07. Please see in attachment.

This kind of reporting is useless. As I see, sunrise and sunset times ARE properly calculated. If you give more data, I may be able to help.

Give a date, place and the sunrise and sunset time that is correct in your opinion. I can then see why JHora is not giving those times.

Also, there are several options for sunrise definition (Preferences >> Related to calculations >> Sunrise and sunset definitions) . Try them.

Namaste,A more latest file can be downloaded from the same location with thesame name. It is still called 7.32 beta. This is the release candidate, unless critical bugs are found.Compared to yesterday's release, this has the following changes:(1) Annotation of starting point chosen in shashtihayani dasa is fixed.(2) Avayogi calculation is fixed.(3) If one's display has a horizontal size of more than 1280 (e.g.1600x1200 or 1440x1080 or 1920x1080 etc), then a "packed chart mode"is available (see the pop-up menu on charts). Dear Raghu,

The bottomline is this: If the place one lives in is not in the database and one chooses to enter the longitude, latitude and timezone manually, that is perfectly alright. Just ensure that you make no mistake. If you enter 15 deg east for longitude and 1 deg west of GMT for timezone, obviously it changes all times by 2 hours because of the east-west error.
