Average Planetary Speeds:

If the planet's increment is less than the average motion of the

planet, it is moving slowly, if the increment is larger than the

average motion of the planet, it is moving fast. Planets appear to

slow down, so to speak, when they are about to station retrograde, and

are also slow when they about to station direct.

Sun: Approximate speed is 59' 08 " (average)

Moon: Normal approximate speed is 10' 36 " to 13'

Mars: Normal approximate speed is 30' to 45' per day (31' 27 " average)

Mercury: Normal approximate speed is 59' 08 "

Venus: Normal approximate speed is 59' 08 "

Jupiter: Normal approximate speed is 5' per day (4' 59 " is average)

Saturn: Normal approximate speed is 2' per day (2' 01 " is average)

Rahu and Ketu: Normal approximate speed is 03' per day

Enjoy,

Allen

Thanks Allen! I lost track with much of my cheat sheets that I had like

this. Much Aloha, Sally

Allen, All,

Also, I used to have notes on the effects of weak planets, like when weak by

degree and when weak in transit, the rules on setbacks, lack of fulfillment

etc. Does anyone have these?

Thanks again.

Sally

Hi ! Can someone please explain how to know in JHora, the current relative speed of planet wrt it's normal average speed ? i.e. fast, slow, very slow, stationary ?JHora shows the Long. speed of planets in AU (astronomical units). What is the understanding of all the fields shown in JHora for speed ? It would be grateful if someone can please explain this.regards,Nigam.
