Guest guest
Dear Majid, You must've experimented with planetary special lagnas in the past and not removed the special lagna. What you mentioned is a planetary special lagna. Click " Edit " in main menu. Click " Planetary Special Lagnas (research) " . In the " Special Lagna Research " dialog box that comes up, check the box that says " Remove this special lagna " . Mo5 stands for a special lagna that is at Moon's longitude at the time of Moonrise and moves at a uniform speed and finishes 5 cycles around the zodiac before the next Moonrise (next day). Similarly, Ju2 stands for a special lagna that is at Jupiter's longitude at the time of Jupiter's rise and moves at a uniform speed and finishes 2 cycles arounf the zodiac before the next rise of Jupiter (next day). This is a generalization of hora lagna (HL) and ghati lagna (GL) defined by Parasara (Su2 and Su5) by using any planet and any factor. This is not from tradition and based on research. However, I have seen very interesting things. For example, look at Ve7 in annual TP chart during the year of marriage! I am cc'ing this to other lists as there is some astrological content in this mail in addition to software related explanation. Guest guest
Namaste! When I turned off everything but the inner planets etc. I was left with Mo5 in the two basic displays (Rashi & Navamsha). If it means anything I am using the Northern graphic pattern of chakra display. I was wondering if that is a bug or is there some way to turn it off that I have not noticed. I am using the last update posted I think which I have as v 7.32. Om Sri Ganapati Ki Jai! Ya Hu! Majid Buell

Guest guest
Dear Narasimha, would you be so kind and explain a little bit more about this special lagnas, for example, which speed to take for Jupiter or the other planets and when and for what events? perhaps if you have no time, could you mention a book to read about this special lagnas. In your very excellent book " Vedic Astrology - An Integrated Approach " I have read about Bhaava Lagna, Hora Lagna, Ghati Lagna, Sree Lagna, but could not find more about this other special lagnas for research, I would call them like " Resonance Lagnas " , if I have understood quite ok the topic . thankyou very much in advance for your advice. Guest guest
Dear Shri Narasimhaji, It is really interesting that you have raised a brilliant idea in this planetary special lagna concepts. From your clarification it is evident that in Ju2 and Ju5 the numbers relate the planetary speed. You may clarify how it comes to 7 in respect of Venus. Perhaps it may be a very basic concept. However I could not catch your point. As you have raised a curious matter, kindly clarify please. Yours S.R.BALASUBRAMANIAM Bollywood news, movie reviews, film trailers and more!
