I found it on two of my machines.The message box shows the correct date/time but the information pane contains the wrong dates. Guest guest Posted February 9, 2009 Report Share Posted February 9, 2009 Dear SanjayP, Yes, this is a known bug and I have been lazy to fix it. If you select to make a chart at " Start " of the eclipse, this happens. The correct times are shown in the dialog box, but the chart is made for year -4713. If you select to make a chart at " maximum " eclipse point, then chart will be fine. The eclipse routine finds various contact points. While a maximum point exists in all types of eclipses, the start point expected by JHora does not exist in certain types of eclipses. Basically, JHora is getting an array of times from Swiss Ephemeris and taking entry 0 as the start. It is undefined and contains a defauly initialization value in certain types of eclipses. The solution is to take the correct index into the array based on the type of eclipse. I will take care of it in the next release.
