Dear Sunil ji,I have also observed this strange behavior of JHora sometimes. When something like that happens I close the program, restart it and input the data afresh. Then it behaves normally. It is very difficult to reproduce such behavior again for reporting purpose.Regards,Krishna--- On Mon, 16/2/09, Sunil John <suniljohn_2002 wrote:Sunil John <suniljohn_2002Re: Re: Jhora Calculationjhora , Cc: "Jyotish Group" Monday, 16 February, 2009, 12:26 PM

Sunil & Krishnaji,

Next time, you see this problem, kindly try to capture the state of

JHora, which could help in reproducing the problem.

1. Is the application in Native mode, Tithi Praveesh mode, Transit

mode

2. Check the timezone entered

3. Check if AM/PM/24 hours is chosen for the birth time

4. Did you use " Change birth time to move lagna to " feature

5. " Undo the latest birth time changes "

6. What is the ayanamsa used

Best regards,

Vijay

Dear Vijay,Thanks for your mail on this subject. In future, I will keep this in mind and report when such a problem occurs. However, of the six items in the list, I can confirm a couple of things right away:3. I always used 24 hrs. birth time format6. Ayanamsha used was Lahiri. But, I think it has also happened once after I have switched to 'True Chitrapaksha Ayanamsha'.I am not so sure about the other points. I will keep a tab on tehm in the future.Regards,Krishna--- On Mon, 16/2/09, Vijaya Kumara Lakshmi Narayana Rao Pingali <pvklnrao wrote:Vijaya Kumara Lakshmi Narayana Rao Pingali <pvklnrao Re: Jhora
