Guest guest
Dear Narasimha, I have worked extensively with Jhora 7.1, a stable program with few bugs. In fact it is my program of choice even though I own PL, Shri Jyoti Star, Das Goravani's two programs and Kala by Ernst Wilhelm. From all the activity in the Jhora Group it seems that the current versions of Jhora 7 are not stable at this time as people seem to be uncovering bugs regularly. I currently have the Jhora 7.33 version, but have not been using it. I am waiting for it to be relatively bug free. Due you feel that Jhora 7.33 has most of the bugs cleared at this time? I would like to start using your program as I have invested a lot of time studying your textbook in conjunction with Jhora 7.1 (I outlined your entire book!). At this point due to my work schedule, I do not have the time to check every output for its accuracy, therefore I have moved back to using my other programs, which is unfortunate since I enjoy using your program the most and it works the best when using the methods as taught in your textbook. Are you planning to release a Jhora 7.34 etc that will be as bug free as the 7.1 version was, or is 7.33 relatively free of bugs? Best Wishes, Ellis - Narasimha P.V.R. A mere screenshot is useless for me to understand what is going on. When such a thing happens here, please save the birthdata as a jhd file. Send me the jhd file you saved and also jhora.ini. It will be in jhcore sub-directory of the directory where JHora is installed. If I have jhora.ini file, it tells me about your preferences. I can use the same preferences and then open the jhd file to reproduce the problem. If I can do that, then I can debug it and figure out what happened. I simply entered the data I could decipher from your jpg (based on the date in dasas) and put Hyderabad as the place. I could not reproduce the problem. So I cannot debug it. The vimsottari dasa was not showing correctly that you can observe from the screen. Since the graphic file can't be attached to Jhora list, I am sending this to you. Please go through.
