Dear Learned Members,

Please let me know whether any customization is needed (i.e., addition or

subtraction of degrees, minutes and seconds) if the above Ayanamsa is chosen to

generate a kundali.

Thanks in advance,

Naveen.

Namaste,

If you use this ayanamsa, it is needless to customize. This ayanamsa is based on a fixed star being at 180 deg in zodiac and the plane is also fixed. Thus, there is no need to change it.

Namaste,

Thanks for the inputs. Is there a way/ a chart to find out the customizations for the various ayanamsa preferences provided by the software?

Thanks,

Naveen.

Namaste,

What do you mean?

if somebody has found experimentally that Lahiri ayanamsa is wrong by 2 min,

they can customize it. There is no table of any kind. If you want, you can use

the standard ayanamsas or experiment by adding or subtracting a little from

them.

Unlike other ayanamsas that are based on some arbitrary start point, Jagannatha

ayanamsa is based on a fixed star at 180 deg and a fixed plane. Hence it will be

strange for anyone to use it and customize it further by adding or subtracting

some delta.

Thanks,

Narasimha
