Guest guest
Namaste, The 7.33 beta update I uploaded yesterday is an update. After it gets some mileage in terms of people trying it out, I will make a formal 7.33 release and give installers for the full and short (small atlas and ephemeris) installation. Current upload is only an update from 7.3x. If you have 7.32 or 7.33 alpha, you can simply run jh_update.exe obtained from unzipping jh_update.zip below and get 7.33 beta on your computer. If you install 7.33 beta, you will have everything contained in 7.32 and 7.33 alpha and a little more. Regarding Anna's question, all the chara karaka options are still there. I haven't removed anything. Thanks, Narasimha ---- Ellis Gordon <ellisfgordon wrote: > Namaste, > > I have Jhora 7.33 alpha installed on my computer from a few months ago. Is the 7.33 beta an update of that version? It seems like the 7.32 has been discussed a lot but not the Jhora 7.33 alpha. You can verify my version in the attached print-screen of my Jhora program which shows the about Jhora window giving the version. I want to make sure that I am not going backwards with the new installation. Thanks for any information in regards to this matter. > > Best Wishes, > Ellis > > - > Narasimha PVR Rao<pvr > jhora <jhora > > Sunday, July 12, 2009 8:17 PM > JHora 7.33 beta available for testing > > > > > > Namaste, > > Please download the latest JHora 7.33 beta at > > http://www.VedicAstrologer.org/jh/test/jh_update.zip<http://www.vedicastrologer.\ org/jh/test/jh_update.zip> > > It contains a few bug-fixes and some additions: > > (1) In SAV, you can use 7 or 8 BAVs now. Gender will be used in Rangacharya's chara dasa. The code for this dasa has been modified by Shanmukha Teli, who becomes the first contributor to JHora software other than me. > (3) When you resize various windows and frames, you can save the sizes now and reuse them when the program restarts. It is based on one interpretation of Parasara, but I am unsure of its correctness yet. > > Please download the update, try it and let me know of any issues. > > If you have any issues, please email me your jhora.ini file. It can be found in the jhcore directory in the directory where you installed JHora. That file will tell me your settings. Some issues can be reproduced only when one uses exactly the same settings. > > Thanks, > Narasimha > > > >
