Guest guest
Respected Narsimha PVR Rao Namaste!! We see many cities with one name in Jhora sofware. They have significant difference in their longitude and latitude. For instance we find 6 Jaipur. Max. difference between their is longitude is 20 degree. Is it possible to add state also so that diffrenciation could be easier?? Regards Ashok
Guest guest
Namaste, It is not possible to add state. In any case, there are several Jaipurs in Rajasthan itself, though one of them is more well-known. Unfortunately, the government data I used for creating the atlas gives 6 Jaipurs in India. In the case of Jaipur, you will see one of the entries found by JHora atlas marked as " Jaipur City " . If you are looking for the famous city in Rajasthan, that is the one you are looking for. In a future release, I will make it show up at the top. Guest guest
Hi Ashok, The best way to find the right city is to find the coordinates by using a search engine like Google or Bing. As an example if you type in " latitude of Jaipur " in the search engine you will come across the following site: http://www.convertunits.com/distance/city/Jaipur,+India The latitude and longitude in the site can be typed in manually or checked with that available in Jhora. Hope this helps. Regards, Mike jhora , Narasimha PVR Rao <pvr wrote: > > Namaste, > > It is not possible to add state.
