Respected PVR Narasimha Rao

I have uploaded a book called sapthavargaphala in the files section written by

hora ratna jyotisha sastra praveen Pandit J.S.Venkatachala Sastry Published by

..Looks like an book published somewhere in 1060s

He had discussed sapta vargas in the book for an example chart

I worked with jhora and found the chart belongs to a man who was born on october

28,1906 at 6.07.24 pm Bangalore location .The planetary positions were very

close with the time i calculated with lahiri ayanamsa

Interesting thing to note is there is difference with the varga charts between

his method and jhora leaving a doubt which one is correct

1.Hora chart-does not resemble any of the types available in jhora

2.Drekkana chart-No resemblance with jhora option

3.saptamsa chart- IT IS THE SAME AS IN JHORA

4.navamsa chart-IT IS THE SAME AS IN JHORA

5.Dwadasamsa chart-IT IS THE SAME AS IN JHORA

6.Trimsamsa-No resemblance with any of the charts found in JHORA

HORA,DREKKANA,TRIMSAMSA CHARTS are completely different from the various option

available in JHora

I leave this to the opinion of the people who are behind JHora to find out or

integrate some more types of chart which were used by scholars before.

thanks

Vishnu

Namaste,

The default hora, drekkana and trimsamsa given by JHora are what Maharshi

Parasara taught in BPHS. JHora gives 7 other hora options, 3 other drekkana

options and 2 other trimsamsa options.

If an author you referred to used a different hora, drekkana and trimsamsa

calculation, obviously the chart will be " completely different " .

If I know what definition he used and if I think it is worth programming, I can

consider adding another option. But, do realize that there are several different

ways people cast hora, drekkana and trimsamsa charts. Also please be aware that

JHora gives 9 different hora charts, 4 different drekkana charts and 3 different

trimsamsa charts.

Thanks,

Narasimha
