for finding effects of sade sati, we need to know the place of moon at the time

of saturn ingress into a sign. i used jh7.32 version, and found that saturn

ingressed into pieces on feb 16, 1996 with moon in sag, elsewhere i saw it was

reported in capri.

in both cases lahiri ayan. is used.

please clarify, else panoti yoga results will be totally different.

Using Lahiri ayanamsa, Moon was indeed in Sg when Saturn changed sign in 1996. If somebody got Cp, they used slightly different calculations.

 

You can make a transit chart for the date of interest and check the murthis of planets under transit tab. This "panoti" is nothing but murthi. You do not have to find the date when Saturn changes sign and see where Moon is and do calculations. JHora does it for you. It actually shows murthi for all transit planets. Check the transit tab.
