errors in BhinnaAstakavarga and SarvAshtakavarga calculations

Dear guru ji,      When i calculated AV and SAV manually for the following chart, i am getting different figures from j-hora. data is: 16-Oct-1918 at 2 PM (LMT), Bangalore

The following may be noted:i.  Figures in SAV do not tally with the figures added from all 8 BAVs.For instance in SAV in Pi, the total is shown as 30, but manually adding 

    all the eight Pi in AVs the figure comes as 33.i have tried other charts also, the total in SAV in most of the signs do not tally with the total     of those signs in the BAVs.However the total in each BAV and SAV (337) is OK. 

ii.  in the above example while Su,Ma,Me,Ju,Sa BAVs are tallying but there is difference in Mo and Ve BAV. In Mo BAV, Ta is given 2 by j-hora     but manually it comes to be 3 and Li is given 4 by j-hora but manually it comes to be 3. In Ve BAV, Pi is given 5 and Aq is given 5 by j-hora 

    but manually it comes as 6 and 4 respectively. These discrepancies have been in other charts as well. Is there some problem with my understanding? hare rama krishna

though this question is directed to Narasimha ji i will try to answer ,but i am

not sure whether it is correct.

 

you can go to the preferences tab-ashtakavarga calculation options and set

whichever method of calculation you want.

 

IF this does not solve your problem,shri Narasimha ji will be able to help you

THere is slight difference between allotment of bindus between parasara and

varahamihira
