Guest guest
Dear respected PVR Ji,Can you kindly guide me? I am using 7.3 version. When I try casting the horoscope with the following birth details, the Lunar year shown is Bahudanya-Chaitra. Dob:13-4-1938 TIME:4-30 hrs Place:Chennai As per Almanacs still the year Eswara is present at that time. Is it an error or I have commited a mistake? Please guide. Guest guest
Namaste, Lunar years like Iswara and Bahudhanya are changed at the time of lunar new year in JHora, i.e when Moon and Sun conjoin in Pisces. Though Telugus, Kannadas etc change month and year on Sukla pratipada tithi, Tamil people change it when Sun enters Aries. They change lunar month also after Sun changes sign. Iswara was over and Bahudhanya started already. But, Sun was still in Pisces at the time you mentioned. Several Tamil panchangas may still show Iswara. Several Tamil panchangas use the same philosophy for changing lunar month every month. They change the month on the 14th/15th/16th of the month when Sun changes sign.
